Since the ancient times people belonging to different communities, races, religions and cultural groups are living here in harmony. National integration exactly means that unity is our hymn. We all belong to one nation. We all live together in the same country. For this, there is no need for a person to give up his religion; customs or love for one's language. As our Hon'ble Former President Late Dr. S. Radhakrishnan said, “National integration cannot be built with bricks and mortar, it should grow silently in the minds and hearts of the people”. During the British rule, India was united politically But the English rulers believed the principle of divide and rule. They created dis-unity among the people belonging to different communities and provinces. Namely, Bharat and Pakistan. But India proved that it was is and will be a secular nation. India is a peace loving country. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from the tip of western India to the farthest corner of Eastern India, it has become one whole political and geographical nation. But we find that in spite of this, unity from time the anti-national elements are trying to destroy the unity of our country. They have created many troubles and disturbances in our country. From the day we achieved our independence, our nation has seen so many crises and has fought four wars. She has over come all the dangers that arose in her nation. The need for emotional and national integration was never so great as it is today. In the present day, there are many obstacles in the path of National integration of India. For example the religious fight between Hindus and Muslims ie., the issue of Babri Masjid and Ayodhya. The people of India are still lagging behind in understanding the meaning of integration. These obstacles should be removed in a determined manner by the people themselves. Many forces are trying to maintain the peace in India. For national integration, it is very essential that people should give up the idea that they belong to different communities and religion. They should instead, remember that they are all one and they are sons of our dear mother India. They should remove these inequalities among themselves and not leave the other nations to solve these problems. They disturb the National Integration of one's country. All men are created equal by creator. No man is born big or small. If we the Indians remember this line, we are sure to achieve peace and unity all over the country. Thus we can lay the foundation for a strong and integrated or united India. Dr. S. Radhakrishnan

NATIONAL INTEGRATIONIndia is a land of diversity. Since the ancient times

people belonging to different communities, races, religions and cultural groups are living here in harmony. National integration exactly means that unity is our hymn. We all belong to one nation. We all live together in the same country. For this, there is no need for a person to give up his religion; customs or love for one's language. As our Hon'ble Former President

Late Dr.

But India proved that it was is andwill be a secular nation.

CIIL Develop Sourashtra LanguageThe following Sourashtra Community Members of Bangalore, were invited to attend the

symposium and workshop conducted by CIIL (Central Institute of Indian Languages), Mysore on 17-07-2015.

Sahitya Academy Awardee Sri K.R. Sethuraman, Sri K.V. Pathy, Advisor, KUSO and Sri T.S. Jayabalan, General Secretary, KUSO. The director was very much pleased to receive them and discussed on Sourashtra language development. He promised to extend all help with financial and moral support for this linguistic minority language.

Sri C.K. Manikandan (Official) and Prof. Ramakrishna (Co-Ordinator) welcomed the guests / representatives of Sourashtra community warmly and extended hospitality during their stay. The director delivered the inaugural address which was thought provoking, “Particularly the minority languages should not use different scripts. This will create problems to researchers and the State and Central Governments. It is to be understood in this context that Sourashtrans were using different scripts and thus changing the scripts from generation to generation. They are now using Tamil script to produce printed literature. There is no arrangement to teach their language even in the schools administered by the Sourashtra Community.

KALAM’S TEACHINGS If you salute your duty, you need not salute anybody, but if

you pollute your duty, you have to salute everybody. Don't take rest after your first victory because if you fail in

second, more lips are waiting to say that your first victory was just 'luck'.

All birds find shelter during a rain, but eagle avoid rain by flying above the clouds.

All of us do not have equal talent, but all of us have an equal opportunity to develop our talents.

Failure will never overtake me if my definition to succeed is strong enough. Man needs difficulties in life because they are necessary to enjoy the success. If you want to shine like a Sun first burn like a Sun. It is very easy to defeat someone, but it is very hard to win someone. Be more dedicated to make sold achievement than in running after swift but synthetic

happiness. Without your involvement you cannot succeed with your involvement you can't fail. Thinking should become your capital asset, no matter whatever ups and downs you

come across in your life.
