Edit data live in theQlik user interface

With INFORM´s Write! Edit, the BI tools QlikView and Qlik Sense

have been extended to include the possibility to directly display

data in the interface and to create or edit it.

This enhances the functionality of the BI solution and improves

the data quality significantly. This makes external tools, like Excel,

to fulfill these requirements redundant.

Write! Edit allows you to:

edit data live in the user interface

create new data in Qlik

write data back to file or database as desired

edit from mobile devices

free selection of input masks/entry fields, e.g.:

– free text fields

– check boxes

– dropdown fields

Because BI solutions integrate all of a company‘s data sources,

these would normally be the ideal starting point for centralized

planning. However, insufficient data entry flexibility prevents an

integrated planning function in the BI solution.

The Write! Plan function closes this gap by, on one hand, providing

a simple way of entering planned data and on the other hand,

including other complex planning functions. As a result, this leads

to enormous time saving in the manual collection of planned data.

Write! Plan allows you to:

make detailed plans on different levels

perform fast top-down and bottom-up planning

execute planning on the basis of real historical data

simply transfer reference data

do a seasonal distribution according to the

reference levels
