Edgewood TOD Tour!

WHEN: Wednesday, March 16th from 5:30-7:30 (groups biking and taking transit will leave Georgia Tech campus at 4:30)

WHERE: the Edgewood/Candler Park MARTA station bus drop-off (south of the tracks near La France St.)

WHAT: Please join us for an exciting opportunity to tour one of MARTA’s forthcom-ing Transit Oriented Development sites at the Edgewood/Candler Park Station. We will meet with Amanda Rhein of MARTA and Eric Kronberg of Kronberg Wall Architecture to hear more about the development and tour the construction site.Following the tour, the group will walk over to Fox Brothers BBQ nearby for some tasty eats and socializing (participants cover their own dinner costs). Several pro-fessional and Georgia Tech student groups will be invited to the event, so this will be a great professional networking opportunity for all.

If you would like to ride MARTA or bike with others, meet on GT campus at the Tech Trolley stop in front of the Klaus building/behind the Architecture building on Ferst Dr. at 4:30PM. You will have to pay for your own MARTA pass, but there will be time to purchase Breeze cards at the Midtown MARTA station if needed. Par-ticipants will be on their own for getting home, but there will likely be others return-ing to campus via transit. Remember, you can bring your bike on MARTA at anytime if you’d like if you’d like to bike there and take transit back.
