LEASE  UPDATE    

Right  of  Entry    (ROE)  and  LeDer  of  Intent  (LOI)  has  been  issued  to  Inspired   Teaching   and   Lee  Montessori   Charter   School.   This   allows  for  minimal  work  to  begin  while  the  lease  is  negoLated.      

ü  The  lease  will  not  include  the  Edgewood  Field.  ü  The   Department   of   Parks   and   RecreaLon   (DPR)   is  

responsible  for  the  programing  of  the  Edgewood  Field.  ü  DPR  or  a   community  based  company  will  be   responsible  

for  programming  of  shared  space  at  the  school.    ü  The  Department  of  General  Services  (DGS)   is  responsible  

for   maintenance   of   the   field,   Edgewood   RecreaLon  

Center  and  grounds.

•  There’s   $1.2   Million   available   in   DPR’s   budget  for  renovaLng  the  field  at  Edgewood

•  Survey   the   community   on   their   program   needs   for   the   shared  space  in  the  school.      

 •  Con)nue  nego)a)ng  the  lease  with  the  Incubator.    We  intend  to  

sign  the  lease  prior  to  Summer,  which  will  allow  the  construc)on  work  be  completed  in  )me  for  a  Fall  opening  of  the  school.    

•  School  construc)on  con)nues.            

•       School  traffic  and  parking  plan  developed.
