• New First Time Applicants will be allowed to upload their documents as .pdf files• Essays, Letters of Recommendation AND Transcripts• Only for use in the admissions process • Final transcript must come from the school or their agent
• Transfer Applicants must submit OFFICIAL transcripts from ALL institutions they’ve attended. This includes dual credit.

Assured Admission is required for all biological sciences, business, engineering, interior design, physics and astronomy. Engineering applicants who do not meet the assured admission requirement will be placed in pre-engineering.

GPA is cumulative for all transferable courses from all schools attended. Courses taken for grade replacement are used for GPA calculations only if the same course is repeated at the institution where it was originally taken.
Some academic colleges and departments at Texas Tech University only accept students who meet assured admission criteria or meet specified GPA minimums, including Architecture, Biological Sciences, Business, Community, Family & Addiction Services, Engineering, Honors, Human Development & Family Studies, Interior Design, Physics, and Astronomy.
