EDEM API: Academic version includes EDEMAPI, which adds to the standard API the ability to employ

UDPAs (User-Defined Particle Attributes) in custom force models and custom contact models.

License Period: 12 months for Annual Licenses and No license end date for perpetual licenses

Academic Licensing: Academic licenses are subject to restrictions and may not be used for commercial

purposes. See Academic License Agreement.

Payment: 30 days net from invoice

Maintenance: Active support provides the following benefits:

- Automatic delivery of software updates

- Three business-day response to all software inquiries

- Availability of feature (level) upgrades

Delivery: New licenses will be issued by e-mail and updated by e-mail as new versions are made

available to the Client.

Upgrades: Licenses may be upgraded at any time to add instances or CPUs or to convert an annual

lease to a perpetual license. Upgrade fees are typically the difference between the upgraded and

original system costs.

DELIVERY: CPT (Carriage Paid To) Clients Site, within ten (10) business days of order acceptance.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. All prices are in Euros and do not include any taxes, tariffs, or duties that may be applied. Such taxes, tariffs,

or duties are the sole responsibility of the Client.

2. EDEM pricing is based on User License Keys (ULK) and Parallel Processor Keys (PPK). A User License Key

enables a user to run one instance of EDEM on a single processor (core), i.e. using 1 Processor License Key

(serial processing). Purchase of additional Processor License Keys allows each ULK to use such PPKs as are

available up to the maximum number purchased. Each ULK pulls a certain number of PPKs from the pool

leaving the remaining keys available for use by other ULKs.

3. This quotation is based on discussions and our understanding of the specific requirements of University

Politehnic Bucharest and as may be subject to change if there is a change in requirements.

4. THIS QUOTATION IS VALID FOR 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF QUOTATION.
