Shazi Fashion brings Asian Dresses to Eindhoven – The Netherlands Reported by Judith Evertse on 7 th Jan 2016 EINDHOVEN – The clients are located all over The Netherlands: they come specially for the dresses from Den Haag to her home town Eindhoven. Shazia Khan sells Asian clothes and accessories in her own (web-) shop Shazi Fashion from last year. She is from Indian origin and moved to Meerhoven locality (in Eindhoven) five years back with her family members. After a career in marketing management, she decided to do something that was her great passion: Fashion Customer like the decorated pashmina tunics, pashmina shawls and earrings, she says: “Customers can not only choose from the range of dresses but also can get customized to their fittings and buy harmonized jewelleries and bags”. Shazia has attracted large number of clients from the expat community in her district: 7 out of 10 houses sold in Meerhoven are from the expat community mainly from China and India. Not only expats are among the customers. Due to the range of Indian dresses and Sarees, that has attracted a large population of Hindoestaanse Surinamese along with Dutch people. Shazia says, “Especially the collection of pashmina shawls matches the taste of Dutch women very well because of its unique design”.
