New interface cables

SUZUKI SWIFT 1.3 MJET

In case of ECU replacement, this function allow to configure the car setting up (anyway it’s better to check the equipment installed) .

In order to make this operation just you need to select the command with the description of desired configuration.

This program allow the injectors coding of Common Rail 1300 DDTI engines installed on Suzuki cars. Before installing injector you need to write the 9 ciphers code – usually you can find it on injector body or sometime it could be written on a manufacturer’s document inside the box.IMPORTANT:0 (zero), J and Q values are not allow in the code typing. Please press F1 to get help and read very carefully instructions during the procedure.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT 1.7 COMMON RAIL ASTRA H

IDLE ADJUSTING This function allow to modify idle engine speed, adjusting rpm lower or upper, using "steps" (levels) stored in advance on ECU software.

RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR This function allow to adapt the sensor in case a replacement is needed.In order to exec this procedure, just you need to launch the appropriate command.



ENGINE MANAGEMENT FIAT-ALFA-LANCIA 1.9-2.4 m-JET - EURO4

Injector code reading – cylinder 1-5This function allow to read the identification number (code) of injector of appropriate cylinder. In case of replacement, the ECU need to learn the new code, using the proper command.In this case must be pretty useful to write down the code of old injector in order to verify the difference with the new one – that proofs that ECU learnt the new injector.

Injector coding – cylinder1-5With this function you enable the possibility to write on ECU the codes of injectors to be replaced. Basically the identification numbers must be found on injector boxes, but anyway must be written on injector itself. Once procedure started, just you need to enter the code.



Oil replacement – only with DPF* filter

This function allow to update ECU parameters, related to oil substitution. This procedure is needed every time you have to replace oil on engine working with DPF.

Precatalyst replacement– only with DPF* filter

This function allow to update ECU parameters, related to precatalyst ageing and the number of not finished regeneration. This procedure is needed every time you have to replace precatalyst on engine working with DPF.

* Note: DPF is Diesel Particulate Filter (as FAP®)



Rail pressure sensor

This procedure is needed when you have to replace the rail pressure sensor. This function allow to reset the values related to base diesel injection quantity offset (based on injectors ageing) and related to main diesel quantity injection offset (based on oxygen sensor measurement).

Self-learning functions reset In case of replacement of some elements, like idle actuator, oxygen sensor, knocking sensor, this function allow to reset the adaptation-parameter (self- learning) of the ECU at the starter values. In this way ECU can drive the new component.After this procedure, turn the key off for 40 seconds in order to allow the reset.



DPF* filter regeneration

This procedure allow to regenerate DPF and must be used in case the particulate lamp on dashboard switch on, or when some malfunctions occurs on DPF.This function generate very high exhaust manifold temperature, so it’s better to check that possible blockage are not present at pipeline.Engine temperature must be upper to 70ºC (21°F)Attention:During the procedure, do NOT park the vehicle on possible inflammable surface (e.g. herb,…)

Service reset Dashboard 159-BRERA

Km proxy Service Reset

This function allow to reset lamp of service intervals execution, on Dashboard.

So the setup of the system has made, in order to re-switch the lamp on after some Km, as prescribed from car manufacturer, for service.



Dashboard replacement

In case of the dashboard replacement is needed, this procedure allow to write on the new dashboard data about Km done and deadline for periodically check.

In order to complete the procedure successfully, please follow the help instructions very carefully.

Km counter Reset This function allow to reset the odometer for cars with less than 200 Km. .

Safety belt alarm Enabling

This function allow to enable the acoustic alarm in case of safety belts insertion is missing.

Service reset Dashboard MARELLI 2 CROMA

Service reset Using this function it’s possible to reset execution service intervals indicator, located on dashboard.

So the system has being programmed in order to switch the indicator on in case of next Km limit occur.

Headlight adjustment setup This function allow to modify / adjust the headlight arrangement.

Dashboard replacement In case of dashboard replacement, you have to write all information about expiry and services. Turn the key off (STOP) or press the START/STOP button, then disconnect the old dashboard and connect the new one. Turn the key on GEAR or press START/STOP button, without pressing clutch pedal. Then type the data, i.e. Km, distance from last service, service number and last service data. At the end confirm the operation.

Engine management / Gear - SMART 800 Petrol

Clutch Engaging & disengage / gear fitting / clutch fitting This procedure is needed in case of replacement or dismantling of components related to gear, in order to setup ECU with new mechanical data (positions, status, end of stroke).

Generally it’s also possible remove movement roughness, sharp or irregular gear switching. The procedure is completely automatic.

Acceleration cross sensor for vehicles with ESP.



TPS VALUES RESETIn case of operations on throttle body (e.g. replacement, upkeep) this function allow the reset of parameters about throttle position. Basically it’s better to use this procedure only when something is wrong, for instance irregular rpm or ignition off at idle speed.

Note: TPS is Throttle position system.

CARBURATION ADJUSTING This function allow to adjust fuel mixture ratio. You just need to launch the procedure and adjust the right value, after be sure the engine is turned on and hot (greater than 80°C). The standard range is generally between 21 and 29; but it’s better to make a double check using a gas analyzer.

Engine management 59/M SETUP



Service reset BMW E60/E61 PETROL

Brakes fluid level; inspection reset; oil service reset; exhaust analysis reset; ignition spark plug reset; front/rear brake reset; micro-filter.

This function allow the reset of one of previous item. Based on selected system, the operation will automatically reset time intervals, km and values.

Note: It’s possible to verify if the operation were successful or not – please see on multifunction display, in maintenance section. For ref. to “gas analysis” and “general inspection” please insert expiry month (2 digits) and year (2 digits) (e.g. July 2006 become “0706”).
