Enclosed 4 side Hood Design
Eliminates the need for a ventilation canopy, reduces installation costs, saves
up to 2kW per hour in energy consumption !
Hobart are unique in fitting fully enclosed 4 sided hoods to all pass-through dish and
utensil washers. When the hood is raised, steam and heat are drawn up into the
hood instead of being released into the dishroom. Installation and running costs are
significantly reduced.
e.g.:
Energy saving of 2 kWh per hr. @ 15 Cent/kWh = 30 Cent / hr.
Typical operation where machine in use for 5 hrs./day, 365 days/year = 550 € p.a.
Hobart enclosed hood could save over 550 € p.a., PLUS minimum 1000 € to install a canopy !

Tank with high performance tank heater ECOTHERM

Consistent Performance
A consistently high wash temperature extracts maximum cleaning performance from the detergent solution. Our
ECOTHERM heating element (2.5 kW), ensures a wash temperature around 60°C even during high load
operation.
The extra heat within the washed ware also improves the drying result !
HOBART research has identified that higher washing temperatures optimize detergent
performance. Chemicals, water pressure and water circulation have much less
importance.

Wide Angle Nozzle FAN
Washing efficiency depends largely on the distribution of the
detergent solution and the avoidance of any masked areas.
Spraying angles and the precision of the wash jets are vital
factors in achieving a powerful, searching wash action and the
new HOBART designed nozzles FAN provide a substantially
broader and more precise spraying pattern.
Compared with conventional and fixed wash arm systems the
detergent solution is disturbed more efficiently, masking is
avoided and the wash result, especially in the corners, is
considerably improved !

Optional Water Softening System
Limescale is a major cause of poor wash results and machine problems. Deposits build up on machine parts, in
the boiler and on heating elements reducing efficiency, increasing running costs and causing failures. Detergent
performance is also significantly reduced !
The optional integral water softening system provides soft water automatically and eliminates the downtime or
extended programme times typically associated with other integral softener systems. The dishwasher, and in
particular, the heating elements are maintained in optimum working order for efficient performance !

Based on the lower water consumption of the new generation hoodmachine the softener now provides even higher
capacity: 660 / 330 / 165 cycles* with a single filling of salt
