A. About Us

Ecoagua is one of the main engineering and consulting companies in Spain which specialises

in desalination and water reuse.

We have a team of highly qualified professionals and accredited experience regarding the

complete engineering cycle of desalination plants, which enables us to undertake projects of

all types and sizes in relation to the market of desalination and reuse in all its stages:

definition, design, bidding, construction, assembly, implementation, operation, optimization

and audit.

In Ecoagua we develop the design, the basic engineering, the supervision of the construction

and the assembly, the implementation of the installations with Reverse Osmosis, Multi-Stage

Flash Distillation (M.S.F), Multiple Effect Distillation (M.E.D.) and Ultrafiltration processes, both

on the national and international markets.

Among our clients there are government departments, private construction companies, banks,

energy companies, etc. Our work philosophy is based on a close collaboration with our clients,

handling each project according to its characteristics, analyzing it from different perspectives

and finding the most effective solutions.

Ecoagua is committed to research as a way of maintaining the high quality of our work. As a

result of this approach Ecoagua has become one of the engineering pioneers in desalination

technology in Spain. Our research works have been published in different specialized

magazines and presented at several congresses of the Spanish Desalination and Reuse

Association (Aedyr) and of the International Desalination Association (IDA).

B. Field of Activity

Ecoagua's main field of activity is the engineering and consulting of water treatment. We

specialize in seawater and brackish water desalination plants for human consumption,

industry and irrigation and reuse plants for water recycling.

Ecoagua specialises in seawater desalination plants and water reuse project engineering:

preliminary studies, preparing technical specifications for biddings, basic and detailed design,

procurement management, manufacturing inspection, construction supervision,

commissioning supervision, evaluation and optimization of operating plants and plant

upgrades analysis.

Ecoagua relies on a vast experience in developing different projects in the water sector. As a

specialized engineering enterprise we offer consulting high value-added services: cost and

investment feasibility studies, technical feasibility studies, reports, due diligence, energy audits

and management and technical advisory services.
