Scrubber unit

There is a growing need for innovative solutions to reduce VOC and odour emissions. Odour emissions arenot directly harmful to the environment but they are annoying for surrounding areas.Government environmental bodies are increasing their focus on stringent legislation on odour control.

The Ecoscrub is specially designed using a combination of various techniques to reduce emissionsextensively of the following polluting vapours:

- Volatile Organic Compounds- Dust and powders- Polluted steam

BAT

Intensive development, research and profound testsresulted in an award of “Best Available Technology” (BAT)

recognized by the Dutch environmental body DCMR. TheEcoscrub has proven its effectiveness on VOC and odourreduction.

Benefits

Usually scrubbers consume substantial quantities of water and additives. The Ecoscrub is designed to use aminimum of water and additives as well as in the consumption of energy. The Ecoscrub is able to handleinlet temperatures of up to 150˚ C.

The Ecoscrub unit can be supplied with various scrubberliquids including the special developed Enviro-Sorb , whichis part of the BAT status.

Mobile or fixed

The Ecoscrub units are available for short term rental andsemi fixed purposes. The mobile unit is easily transported.Installation and commissioning on site takes less than 1 day.

The Ecoscrub units are especially designed based on theapplication and specification of the customer.

 The Ecoscrub has a three stage washing facility. Thepolluted vapour is led to the “HD unit” where a first washingtakes place and where the vapour is cooled downintensively. This provides a maximum extraction of pollution

out of the vapour. In the scrubber column two sequentialwashing operations take place whereas in the last stage thevapour flows through a fiber demister curtain for finaltreatment. The result is a reduction of up to 80% on VolatileOrganic Compound and more than 90% reduction of odour
