Not to be outdone, Stacy Silverwood shows off his new Ducati. He says its really comfortable and a lot of fun to ride. At last, a new BMW, with an uniden- tified rider.

Sharon Kepple is now riding abeautiful new 800…

…if she can keep her husband,Gary, off of it. He claims he was justshowing off the beautiful sound of theafter market exhaust.

Sean DeAngelis went to Las Vegas tocheck on the new 450 BMW and cameback engaged to Sonya. Apparently,BMW only had a 450 for looking at, butsent him out on all the competition.He said the 450 has a very compactengine and transmission, with severalvery well thought-out details.

The recent Baja 1200 included JohnBarnes looking good after riding asandy 50 miles in the dark on a hard tostart Husqvarna. John came in secondon the first Baja 1000, 40 years ago, sohe was asked do this stint in the 2007version along with Malcolm Smith andother heroes.

Former club president, Dick Climes,just in from Missouri, talked with Johnabout their ride in the Alps.

Rod Lorang rode took his GS on arecent Saturday ride out to Dudley’sand beyond.

You’re supposed to note the clearlenses on the rear lights of LindaSorensen’s mighty K1200.

Mark Spittle, holding the coffee cup,would have Don Picker and DavidMishalof believe that he just found thisclean 1986 K75C with only 3000 mileson the clock for only $3000.

Gary Walker had this Saturday crewcheck Japatul Spur for fire damage.None. But there was wind damage.

Many, including Gary, had to evacu-ate their homes during the recent firestorms. Many homes around ourpresident’s in Rancho Bernardo weredestroyed, but not his. Former Presi-dent, Vern Henderson, returned tofind his house intact, but all around itburned.

Mike O’Keefe had to leave his SDCountry Estate home, and Rich Amitonhis home in San Marcos.

Bill Taylor rented a bike in Germanylast summer and his wife Annelene gotnew leathers there so they could ridein the Taurus mountains. This picturedocuments what may have been herfirst ride in California.

George Holderback not only got anew Adventure, but one in customyellow.

All the way from Tasmania, Marga-ret Peat stopped in San Diego on herway to Tierra del Fuego. She shipped a1200GS as well. It’ll stay in NorthAmerica while she rides the 650 south.Then she plans to explore more of theworld. Kit and Mike Lynch met herwhile they were riding in Tasmania lastyear.
