Auc&on Start Time Doors to the Auc&on and bidding will be opened at 11:00 am.

Bidder Registra&on This year, par3cipants will fill out a Bidders registra3on card (sample below) with your Name and contact informa3on. Bidder Registra3on opens at 10:30 am. You can either register as you enter the auc3on prior to bidding or you may Pre-‐register beginning at 10:30 am. You will be given the sec3on which contains your Unique 3 digit Bid Number. This card also contains a blank area for you to use to write down item numbers you have bid on, if you wish to keep track of your bidding. The other 2 sec3ons will be retained and filed by your unique Bid Number and Bidders Name. When bidding you only need enter your Unique 3 digit bid number on the bid sheet along with your bid amount. Should you prefer to use your first and last name, in lieu of your bid number you may do so. This process will make bidding quick and easy and allows anonymity during the bid process for those who prefer it.

Closing the Bidding A Staggered Closing process will be used this year. Doing so will enable bidders to move from sec3on to sec3on checking in on their bids in different sec3ons and categories. This allows bidders to get last minute bids in on more than one item, rather than having to choose just one favorite and risk losing other items you are interested in. Addi3onally, it is a more efficient and fair way to close a large auc3on and allows the Auc3on Team to start pos3ng winners at an earlier 3me. Winners will being being posted before all the sec3ons and categories are at the auc3on are closed for bidding.

We are an3cipa3ng having the winners of the first two sec3ons closed (ECC & Kindergarten), posted as early as 3:15pm or earlier and the next two sec3ons (Kindergarten & Grade 1) posted by 3:20 or earlier, and so on. This will allow winners to begin paying for and picking up their items before the County Fair Closes.

Winning Item(s) and/or services Payment and Pickup Procedures & Policy: Beginning at approximately 3:15pm Winners will start to be posted at the entrance to the HS library. Winners can pay by cash or check and pick up their winnings at the auc3on loca3on when the Winner Sheet with the winners Bid #, Name & winning Bid amount is posted. * Note: Ager making payment, owners of the items will be escorted to pick up their winnings or have them brought to them near the cashier area. Winners are not to retrieve items themselves from the auc3on area without an escort. This is to verify the correct, paid for items are given to the proper winner. Auc3on Cashiers will begin closing at 4:30 pm on day of auc3on.

If you do not pay for and pick up your winnings on Auc&on Day.

Payment by cash or check and pick up of winnings must be done by 12:00 (noon), Monday, March 12, 2012, at the SAS PTA Office. Otherwise the item or service will be awarded to the previous bidder. Hours for payment and pick up: Mon., Tue., Thur. & Fri. 8:00 am – 2:30 pm. Wednesday 9:30 am – 2:30 pm. Everyone who has been in the PS Library will be familiar with the layout of this piece. The Library is an exi3ng place to be, and the children love it. This acrylic on canvas

represents their reading 3me with Mr. Palmer. Apart from the magnificent selec3on of books,

the library is filled with crea3ve artwork. Inspira3on is all around. The children outlined their feet on paper, cut them out and then were stenciled onto the canvas. Mr. Emery worked on the base colors and as one of the children commented, "wow! ...It is exactly like in the library..." The children then put colors of their choosing on the outlined feet. They had

This class listened to a variety of Beethoven's composi3ons and learned about his life. They were asked to think about what his life must have been like, and they studied the iconic portrait done by a famous ar3st of that day,

which is instantly recognizable around the world. They then drew a charcoal portrait of Beethoven, puqng their own ar3s3c twist into their drawings, while

listening to his music. This is a compila3on of their work.
