Unit IV : No change & as per Syllabus

Unit V : No change & as per Syllabus

Unit VI : No change & as per Syllabus

Unit VII :

Monostable operation to be includedFunctional Block diagram to be includedIn Subsection 23-11 exclude everything except XR-2206 block diagram. Mention of applications of XR-2206 is included.

Other topics are as per the prescribed Syllabus

Unit VIII

The pass transistor, switching the pass transistor on and off, topologies (Table 24.2 excluded)., Buck regulation, Boost regulation, Buck-boost regulation. No numerical problems on switching regulators

Other topics are as per the prescribed Syllabus

Guidelines for paper setting : 4 question to be set each in Part-A and Part-B. Student have to answer atleast 2 full questions from each part.

No mixing of units i.e one complete question to be set from each unit. Approximately 75% of the Total Marks can be numerical problems.

In Unit-3 voltage amplifiers carries for 10 marks .CC & CB carries for 10 marks.

In Unit-VI Frequency effects carries for 10 marks, Negative feedback topics carry for 10 marks

Unit VII Non linear operations carries for 10 marks, Oscillators carries for 10 marks

What is not derived in the text books should not be asked in the examination.

Question paper should be based on the syllabus from the prescribed text book only.
