The efficiency classes according to CEMEP/EU specifications are

illustrated below. There are 3 efficiency classes, with only motors

> 1.1 kW taken into account. The ultimate objective is to remove

EFF-3 motors from the market and replace them by EFF-2 motors,

better still by EFF-1 motors. Using ebm-papst products helps to

exceed these voluntary agreements:

Even the "Nema-Premium" limit as defined by the American

NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) is something

EC motor technology easily meets and even exceeds considerably
