Fight Against Hunger at ECASD Prairie Ridge A small group of motivated teachers, staff and community members are working to improve food security for ECASD Prairie Ridge Early Learning School families. An on-site food pantry has been made available through a partnership with Feed My People Food Bank. Fight Against Hunger has several projects in the works and hope to launch an educational school garden next spring.

University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire Food Pantry Opened in September of 2014, the Campus Harvest food pantry was developed to aid the high percentage of students that self-identified as in need of supplemental food assistance. Run by student volunteers and open exclusively to university students, Campus Harvest is an easy way for our campus community to become a more unified whole. Please visit the Campus Harvest Food Pantry website by clicking HERE!

Token Program at Eau Claire Downtown Farmers Market The sales of the Token Program totals almost $30,000 since inception. The Token Program is available to credit/debit and FoodShare patrons. The program gives FoodShare (FS) participants the opportunity to purchase Farm-ers Market produce. Total sales in 2012 of $4,000 increased to over $15,000 in 2014. The majority of FS patrons reported that due to the Token Program they were eating more fruits and vegetables, saving money on food and feeling more included in our community. Thanks to Eau Claire County 4-H and JONAH volunteers for promotion and running the Token Program.
