We have traveled world-wide extensively to be able to select our locations and our partners.To do so, we have designed our own quality check list that ensures that your program is thebest program at each location, just like if one of us was traveling:

Even though each school follows their own course syllabus which we have reviewedand approved, there are core concepts to keep in mind to better understand the language courses available:Lesson length: Ranges from 45 minutes to 50 minutes.Levels: All language course levels available at all times.Start dates: Most locations have courses starting any Monday unless you were a beginner in which case many locations have specific course start dates. There is at least one start date per month for beginners at most locations.Class sizes: Ranges from 1 to 15 students per class. Age Groups: There is normally a wide participant age range group within each course at all the locations. The average age of participants is from 25 to 35 years old. We have certainly had participants who were much older and much younger than the average so never feel age is a limitation. * specific details are published online under each location's area.

Course Types Available:Intensive Language Course

Usually 15, 20 to 25 lessons per week (morning or afternoon).This is the most popular group course and runs throughout the year at all levels from beginners to advanced. Lessons aim at developing the communicative competence in the four main skills: speaking, reading, listening and writing. They also provide contextualized grammar and expose the students to the local culture. Classes are Monday through Friday either in the morning or afternoon.

>> Who takes this course: Students who want to learn at a steady pace and have enough time.

Immersion Language Course

Combination of group classes in the morning and private classes in the afternoon.The Immersion Language Course is designed for students wishing to deepen their learning experience and to accomplish a higher level of proficiency in a shorter time. The group course is usually in the morning and encourages students interaction with other students and the teacher. The individual classes are often in the afternoon and you can use it to reinforce what you have learned during the group classes or rather focus on a specific area or topic. Classes are Monday through Friday. >> Who takes this course: Students who want to focus on the language learning to be able to learn as much as possible, within a group setting, in a short period of time.

Private Language Course

Tailor-made to your own personal needs and interests.The private course is designed to meet your individual needs and expectations. During the course, you will be exposed to a wide variety of topics according to your own interests and will make progress at just the right speed for you. During the first day of the course you will meet with the teacher and discuss your requirements and needs. One of the good things about this course is that you can start at any time and you determine the number of lessons to take.

>> Who takes this course: Students who need a flexible schedule, don't have a lot of time to study and those who want to focus on a specific topic area.

Super Intensive Language Course

Usually 30 lessons or more per week (morning & afternoon).This course is similar to the standard course because it also focuses on developing the communicative competence in the language in the four main skills: speaking, reading, listening and writing. The main difference is that it lasts longer; more lessons per day. Classes are Monday through Friday.

>> Who takes this course: Students who want to focus on the language learning but at the same time want to have some free time to enjoy as much as possible in a short period of time. Students in this course are normally older than those at the standard course.

Compare Your Course Locations:

Free Internet: Facilities have computers available for students´ use with Internet. Schools that only have wireless Internet connection will not be listed under this category.

Close to Beach: Locations that are close to the coast and have nice beaches. Locations that are on the coast but are not known for their beaches will not be listed in this category.

Close to Mountains: Locations where you can reach the mountains within 30 minutes.

Large City: Cities with a population of 1,000,000 or more.

Older Crowd: Schools where there are language courses for professionals or locations which are more popular among an older crowd because they are convenient to get to, participants are traveling on business and the school is conveniently located and cities are developed and have all amenities expected. An older crowd is considered to be about 35 years and older. Even though a school might be clasified as "older crowd", the average age of all students at all the locations is about 25 - 35 years old.

Min. 2 weeks: Some schools have a minimum time that you are required to study for. Locations of Arabic programs have a minimum of 3 and 4 weeks depending on the city.

Convenient to get to: Schools which are close to main airports with many direct flights from the US.

Start any Monday: You can start classes any Monday if you aren't a beginner. Beginners please check details online regarding your dates since some locations differentiate start dates for beginners and non-beginners.

Class Ranges from 1 to 7: Maximum number of students in the class is less than 7. Each location is different, check online details for the exact maximum number of students.

EXPERIENCE A LANGUAGE FROM DIFFERENT LOCATIONS

When arranging your trip you have the option of dividing the time you travel between different cities. This allows you to experience different families, visit different cities and meet new people. It is a way of taking advantage of your cultural immersion program. This option is only recommended for participants who will be traveling for more than four weeks since the minimum time you want to stay in a program is two weeks.

"I went to study German to Germany and I only had three weeks to travel. I had to choose between staying in Berlin or dividing my time between Munich and Berlin. I decided to divide my time and I did two weeks in Munich and one week in Berlin. It was a nice trip because I got to visit two cities but learning wise my week in Berlin was not as productive as my time in Munich." - Mark Stephan"

TRAVEL IN A GROUP

Many university groups, church groups, special interest groups and groups of friends have traveled through our language immersion program. You can combine language learning with afternoon activities together with your group mates, weekend excursions visiting surrounding areas and more! Traveling in a group is double the fun and double the experience.

CULTURAL IMMERSION FOR PROFESSIONALS

Taking part in a language and cultural immersion experience is the quickest and most efficient way to learn a language. For professionals who just have a few weeks to be away from the office and need to learn the language. They have the option of participating in a regular language program and adding on private classes to focus on specifics. You may also arrange all private classes; 4 lessons/day, 6 lessons/day or 8 lessons/day depending on how intensive you need the course to be.
