Easy Steps to Lease an Instrument from

Please follow these easy steps so there is no delay in the delivery of the

musical instrument. 1. Fill out the attached contract or download a contract from

www.progressivemusiccompany.com 2. On the contract, make sure to fill out all of the areas shaded in gray in ink. 3. Return the white copy of the contract to Progressive Music with your first month’s

payment. We must receive the original contract. Faxed copies cannot be accepted.

4. Instruments will be delivered to your child’s school unless otherwise arranged. 5. If you sign up for automatic credit card/debit card payments, your account will

begin being debited about one month after your child receives the instrument. 6. If you plan to pay by cash or check, you will receive a book of payment

coupons in the mail that show your payment due dates. 7. Make sure to save this piece of paper along with the yellow copy of your

contract. There is important information about your contract on the back of this piece of paper.

Once you know the method book that your child needs, you can use this table to find the book price. Please note the book title and price on the lease agreement. All prices include tax.

• Parents need to send contract & check for the amount due to Progressive Music as soon as possible.

The entire monthly rental fee is applied towards the purchase price of a new instrument. There is no built-in interest. Monthly Rental Fee: Group I: Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Snare Drum, $20.00

Percussion Kit, Violin, Viola

Group II: Oboe, Alto Saxophone, Cello $40.00 Group III: Tenor Saxophone, French Horn $50.00

A $2.00 late fee will be assessed to all payments received after the monthly payment due date.

• For your convenience, automatic credit card payments may be arranged for

those parents wishing to pay by this method. Parents need to complete the Credit Card/Debit Authorization form & return it with the contract.

• Rental instruments will be delivered on a date agreed upon between the Music

Teacher & Progressive Music. Rental contracts received after that date will either be delivered to the school as soon as possible or shipped via FedEx.

• Contract is open-ended.

Parents may rent until enough money has been accumulated to purchase a NEW instrument, at the current retail price, at the time of purchase. This usually takes 3-4 years.

• Normal wear & tear repairs made—no charge. If necessary, another instrument

will be provided. Damage caused by accident, neglect, abuse, or carelessness will be charged.

• It is your responsibility to notify Progressive Music if your child quits and you wish

to return the instrument. This contract is between you and Progressive Music—NOT the teacher or the school. Once YOU notify Progressive Music, and return the instrument, no further rental fees will be due.

• Payments must be made year-round, INCLUDING the summer months, in order to

keep your contract current and active.
