2.. Participatory Project ManagementProject management is a very dynamic area in that there are diverse stakeholders with differing perception relating their roles, expectation and interest. Understanding this situation need well informed cultivated and adequately prepared personnel. With this background we seek to train project managers so that they understand their roles without creating friction among the stake holders. We do not only focus on the program managers we deal with the stake holders in fine tuning their expectations with realities in the project environment. We provide assistance in expectation gathering, need assessment, community appraisal and other forms of appraisals. This process is achieved through use of salient methodologies such as, community based natural resource management (CBNRM), ZOPP, which incorporates some of the following components borrowed from PRA menu, like focus group discussions, semi structured interviewing, preference ranking, mapping and modelling and seasonal and historical diagramming. This process culminates in actionable community action plans (CAPs) for project implementation.

1. Feasibility and Pre-feasibility studiesWe offer different forms of feasibility studies for different investments and development proposals/projects to guide the implementation process and/or to inform prospective financiers. We conduct both feasibility and pre-feasibility tests that would inform the process for optimal success of the projects. We conduct market feasibility, considering various indicators, governing the markets. We also conduct technical, financial and economic feasibility studies, risk assessments and evaluation of critical success factors.

4. Mystery Shopping: Would you like to know and keep track of your customer experiences weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly? Control by “wandering around” can overcome most problems in small projects. However, large projects need to have formal control mechanisms put in place. This ensures that the path charted is not deviated from and envisaged targets for every stage are met and indeed the final target is reached. This ensures that the project team is held accountable for the progress of the project. This prevents small problems from mushrooming into large problems and focus is kept.
