Armenian e-‐infrastructure • Armenia a?aches great importance to the deployment and
implementa1on of the state of art e-‐infrastructures. Development of S&E e-‐infrastructure is under the influence of scien1fic efforts to solve the problems associated with the country's needs in economy, science, etc.
• Armenian R&E network infrastructure is composed of two networks: Academic Scien1fic Network of Armenia (ASNET-‐AM) and Armenian Research and Educa1onal Networking Associa1on (ARENA). Due the projects FP7 -‐ BSI and HP-‐SEE, an united network space has been established.
• GEANT connec1vity, Armenian Grid infrastructure using ASNET-‐AM facili1es have crucial meaning for the Armenian e-‐infrastructure sustainability.

Fundraising • Regular state support to maintenance the e-‐infrastructure • State framework programmes to support of user community
(Meteorology, Seismology, Biology, Physics) • State support to integrate with EU ERA ICT and bridging the
digital divide
Sustainability
• Long term state funding not depend on short 1me state and interna1onal programmes is crucial.
• State support of innova1on processes by special services of e-‐infrastructure
• Common vision on ICT development in Armenia in e-‐infrastructure by the means of Armenian Grid Ini1a1ve, Geant connec1vity, etc.
• Advanced usage of e-‐infrastructures by Stakeholders and R&E organiza1ons.
• Extension of collaboration with international correspondent units (TERENA, CEENet, ISOC, EGI, etc..).
