Intro to the Country
The official name is Mongolia.The form of government is Parliamentary Democracy.The capital is Ulaanbaatar.The population is of 2,854,780 people.The languages are Khalkha Mongol (offcial), Turkic and Russian.The money is the Togrog/Tugrik.The area is of 604,200 square miles ( 1.5 milion square kilometers).The major mountain ranges are the Altai, Khangai and Khentii.The major river is Orkhon.
Geography
Mongolia is located in Asia between Russia to the north and china to the south. Itis one of theworld’s highest countries. It is 700 kilometers from the yellow sea.
Mongolia temperatures can fluctuate as much as 35 degrees in one day . Thecountry is very dry and it has only four inches of rainfall per year . The Gobi desertis in the South. It is one of the earth’s coldest deserts and covers about 600.000squaremiles ( 1.295.000 squeare kilometers ).
Nature
Bactrians camels are native toMongolia. They have two humps andare smaller than the Arabian camel.The Mongolian horse is small buttough and can withstand the harshtemperatures of the Mongolianclimate. The Gobi is expanding. Everyyear, about 1,400 square miles ofnew desert are added because ofchanges in land use, includingfarming, grazing animals, anddestruction of the forest. Globalclimate change may also be a factor.
Wildlife is threatened in Mongolia. There aresnow leopards is endangered, but has arefuge in the country’s nature reserves. Asless land is available for wild animals, speciessuch as the musk deer have nowhere to hidefrom illegal hunters who are killing off most ofthe remaining population. The first dinosauregg discovered was found in the Gobi. Manydinosaurs remains and fossils from 100 millionyears ago, during de late Cretaceous period,have been found there.

Many Mongolians continue to livein yurts, or gers, wich are dome-shaped, tent-like structures. Theyare furnished with all the comfortsof a home, incluiding a stove forheat and cooking meals, rugs tocover the wooden floors, beds andstorage. Today gers often haveelectricity, satelite dishes and solarpanels. Mongolia’s largest festival,Naadam, is celebrated in summerand focuses on sports, games andfood. Children also participate insome of the sports, incluidinghorse races.
Many people still raise animalsand eat a lot of meat and milkproducts.

Korea is a 1,200-kilometer-long peninsula.
It is located in the eastern part of the Asian continent.
Today, the country is divided into South and North
Korea, but korean people think that it is a single nation
that can’t be divided.

South Korea is a small country with a lot of
people. As a result, many of the country's
natural habitats have disappeared. There are 20
national parks. Tigers lived in the Korean
peninsula, but today there may be none left at all.
Tigers were killed by hunters who wanted their

The official name is Japan, the formof government is Constitucional monarchy with parlamentarygovernment, the Capital is tokyo, and there the Population is127,463,611 people, the officiallanguaje is Japanese, the money isthe japanese yen, the area is about145,883 square miles (377,835 squarekilometers), the major mountainranjes are the japanese alps, themajor river are: Biwa, Inawashiro, kasumigaura.

Japan is an archipielago, on the easternpart of asia. There are four islands: Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu.There are also nearly 4,000 islands! Japan’s nearest mainland neighbors are the siberian region of Russia in thenorth and in Korea and China south.
Almost four-fifths of japan is coveredwith mountains. The japanese alps rundown the center of the largest island. The mount Fuji is a very big volcano.
Nature
Most of Japan is covered by countryside. But with more than 100 million people living in a small place. Wildlife has suffered.
About 136 species lives in Japan.
The warm water flows from the south intothe sea of Japan, where it meets a coldercurrent from the north. The mixing of waters makes the seas around Japan veryrich in fish.
