Introduction v
Introduction
Easter would not be the same without beautiful hand crafted Easter eggs. With
the varieties of egg dyes and decorating techniques, each egg can be its own unique
work of art. Why not make egg dying a fun and creative project to take up for the Easter
holiday? Fill them with candy, use them in an Easter egg hunt, give them away as gifts
or simply use them as Easter ornaments to spruce up a space. While help from an adult
is advised when it comes to safety precautions regarding stove use, egg decorating isn’t
hard! The materials can be easily found in your kitchen cabinet or your local grocery
store at inexpensive prices. The following instructions will help you understand what
materials you need to get started, and easy step-by-step instructions on how to prepare
the eggs for dying, preparing the egg dye, and different decorating techniques, if you
want to go beyond just coloring your eggs. Soon enough you will be on your way to
creating an extraordinary Easter extravaganza!
