PROCLAIM THE RISEN CHRIST

On Easter morning everything—the spring weather, the flowers, birds and butterflies, the people around us in their finery, the beautiful liturgy and music—everything seems to bear witness that Jesus Christ is risen today! Like the eyewitness accounts in today’s scriptures, the glorious and joyful life all around us helps us to believe the good news of the Resurrection and sing “Alleluia!”

In the scriptures today we hear from Peter and Paul and John. All three speak with con-viction about witnessing the res-urrected Christ. John’s Gospel account includes Mary of Magda-la, who also was privileged to witness the Resurrection and tell others the good news. On this glorious Easter Sunday can we ourselves give eyewitness accounts that Jesus Christ is ris-en today, alive and active in our lives? Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co., Inc.

FIRST COMMUNIONS

*The rehearsal for First Communions will be on Friday, April 27th at 5:00 pm at the School (Please

be there with your sponsors!). *The First Communion Retreat will be directly fol-

lowing from 6-8 pm. *First Communions are scheduled for Saturday, April

28th at 11:00 am at the School. The Mass will be bilingual.

ACA UPDATE St. Rose of Lima Parish has pledged $46,251 thus far for the 2018 ACA campaign. We have 152 families participating. As of March 27th, we have paid $25,452, which gives us a short-fall of $9,958 for our goal. Any additional moneys received above our goal will be reimbursed to the Parish. Thank you for giving so generously to help support the worthy pro-

grams of the Diocese of Yakima.

Coconut Crawl

Saint Rose Catholic School is preparing for our annual fun run fundraiser, the Coconut Crawl. Students will be out in the community soon seeking donations. Sponsor-ships are also available. Contributions of any amount

are welcome. As little as $10 helps with book purchases for our school library, $50 will buy textbooks for one student for a year! For more information, to become a sponsor or to donate, please contact the

DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY

Next Sunday in honor of Divine Mercy Sunday, please join us for an hour of
