March 27, 2016 9:00 a.m.
It is our expressed hope that in this time we might offer worship which
celebrates Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in a format which is both
Biblically-based and contextually relevant. We invite you to join us in God-
directed, life-giving praise and worship of our God!
The Guide For Today: Five minutes before worship is when we start to center ourselves for
worship. Consider reading the meditative reflection passage on the next
panel. We encourage all those attending to gather for worship as we set
the frame of our vision and welcome all in song.
The words to the songs are on the screens.
music Feel free to stand, sit, kneel, dance or sing. We encourage
you to participate in today’s worship.

The Story of David—Join us on Sunday April 3 at 4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary for a 45 minute performance from the books of Samuel, brought to life by Patrick McWilliams. Hear the stories of Samuel, the priest Eli, of Saul, the first King of Israel, and of a boy, anointed by God, who, as a man, became King of Israel and Judah, and whose prayers have been on the lips of humankind for three thousand years: DAVID.
Right Mind Decision Making—As pastor, I can say the most difficult decisions often come at our most unprepared time. It doesn’t have to be that way. On April 24th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in fellowship hall, we will host a discussion that looks at the practical issues surrounding the death of a loved one while our thinking is clear; including funeral arrangements and memorial services. Hear from a local funeral home representative and our pastors. Ask all your questions!
LIFE IN THE CHURCH Holy communion—The sacrament will be observed next Sunday, April 3. All worshipers are reminded to prepare themselves as they approach the Lord’s table. Please call the church office to receive the sacrament at home. Two Cents Per Meal—Mission offering will be collected next Sunday. “Wall—O—Money”—The high school students are heading to Chatta-nooga, Tennessee for a mission trip. They have started a Wall-O-Money in Anderson Hall and would love your help filling the envelopes with donations! If you are willing to donate please go check out the wall in Anderson Hall! Supper Socials—Is ready to launch! If you have not gotten your Sup-per Socials schedule by email, please notify Joan Dauphinee 321-277-9843.
