life in the presence of the risen Christ.

Life is a gift for which we are grateful ;
We gather in community to celebrate the
glories and mysteries of this great gift.
Today we celebrate:
New life, new joy, new possibilities.
We give thanks for the Spirit of Life
visible in Jesus, visible in us,
visible in people in all walks of life.
Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Earth and heaven in chorus say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!

The Lord be with you
and also with you

He is risen indeed. Alleluia!

through Christ our Lord. Amen.
GLORIAGlory to God in the highest,
and peace to God's people on earth.
Lord God, heavenly King,
Almighty God and Father,

Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father,
Lord God, Lamb of God,
You take away the sin of the world:
have mercy on us……

O God, we celebrate this wonderful day! Jesus has
shown us that your love and your way are more
powerful than the forces of evil in our world. You

alive again and with us forever. Amen.

Light’s reddening dawn – 360 Australian Hymn Book II
Light’s reddening dawn glams through the sky;
Heav’n thunders forth its victory
Alleluia, alleluia!
The glad earth shouts her triumph high
And groaning hell makes wild reply
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia!
While our Lord Christ, the mighty king
Despoiling death of all its sting
Alleluia, alleluia!
And trampling down the powers of night
Bring forth his ransomed souls to light
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia!
His tomb of late then threefold guard
Of watch and stone and seal had barred
Alleluia, alleluia!
But now in power and triumph high
He comes from death to victory
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia!
The pains of hell are loosed at last
The days of mourning now are past;
Alleluia, alleluia!
And angel robed in light has said
‘The lord has risen from the dead!’
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia!
From every weapon death can wield
Your own redeemed for ever shield;
Alleluia, alleluia!
O lord of all, with us abide
In this our joyful Easterside
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
Alleluia, alleluia!

Look for his coming in glory.
God has brought you out of
darkness into his marvellous light.
Shine as lights in the world to
the glory of God the Father
God has called you into his
Church.
We therefore receive and
welcome you as members with us
of the body of Christ, as inheritors
of the Kingdom, and as much
loved children of God.
The Greeting Of Peace
We are the Body of Christ.
His Spirit is with us.
The peace of the Lord be always with you.
And also with you
The day of resurrection!
Earth, tell it out abroad;
the passover of gladness,
the passover of God.
From death to life eternal,
from earth unto the sky,
our Christ hath brought us over,
with hymns of victory.
The day of resurrection– 361 Australian Hymn Book II
Our hearts be pure from evil,
that we may see aright
the Lord in rays eternal
of resurrection light;
and listening to his greetings,
may hear, so calm and strong,
his own "All hail!" and, hearing,
may raise the victors’ strain
Now let the heav’ns be joyful!
Let earth the song repeat!
The whole world shout in triumph,
Her living Lord to greet
Let all things seen and unseen
their notes in gladness blend,
for Christ the Lord has risen,
our joy that has no end.
Prayer Over The GiftsBlessed are you, Lord God of all creation.
Through your goodness we have these gifts
to share. Accept and use our offerings for your
glory, for the feeding of your people and
for the service of your kingdom.
Blessed be God for ever.
The Lord be with you.
And also with you.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give our thanks and praise.
All thanks and praise, glory and honour, be
yours at all times, in every place, Holy and
loving Father, true and living God.
We praise you that through your eternal Word
you brought the universe into being and
made us in your own image.
You have given us this earth to care for and delight
in, and with its bounty,You preserve our life.
We thank you that you bound yourself to the
human race with the promises of a gracious
covenant and called us to serve you
in love and Peace.
Above all we give you thanks for your Son,
our Saviour Jesus Christ: born as one of us,
He lived our common life and offered his life
to you in perfect obedience and trust.
By his death he delivered us from sin, brought
us new life, and reconciled us to you
and one another.
Therefore with angels and archangels and apostles
and prophets, with holy men and women of every
age, we proclaim Your great and glorious name,
forever praising You and saying:
Holy, holy, holy Lord,
God of power and might,
Heaven and earth are full of Your glory.
Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna in the highest.
Holy God we thank you for these gifts of Your creation,
this bread and this wine, and we pray that we who eat
and drink them in obedience to our Saviour Christ, by
the power of the Holy Spirit, may be made one with Him
and each other in peace and love.
On the night he was betrayed, Jesus took bread;
and when He had given you thanks He broke it,
and gave it to His disciples, saying,
‘Take, eat. This is my body given for you.
Do this in remembrance of me.’
After supper He took the cup and again giving you
thanks He gave it to His disciples, saying,
‘Drink from this all of you. This is my blood of the
new covenant shed for you and for many for the
forgiveness of sins. Do this, as often as you drink it,
in remembrance of me’.
Christ has died.
Christ is risen.
Christ will come again.
Therefore we do as our Saviour has commanded:
proclaiming his offering of Himself made once for
all upon the cross, His mighty resurrection and
glorious ascension, and looking for His coming
again, we celebrate, with this bread and this cup,
His one perfect and sufficient sacrifice for the sins
of the whole world.
As we eat and drink this holy sacrament, renew us
by Your Spirit that we may be united in the body
of your Son and serve You as a royal priesthood
in the joy of Your eternal kingdom.
Receive our praises, Father, through Jesus Christ
our Lord, with whom and in whom, by the power
of the Holy Spirit, we worship You in songs of
never–ending praise:
Blessing and honour and glory and power are
Yours for ever and ever. Amen.
The Lord’s PrayerAs our Saviour Christ has taught us, we are
confident to pray,
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Forgive us our sins as we forgive those
who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial and deliver us
from evil.
For the kingdom, the power, and the glory,
are yours now and for ever. Amen.
The Communion
We break this bread to share in the body of
Christ. We who are many are one body,
for we all share in the one bread.
We break bread together and share a cup
of wine in memory of the one
who gives us life.
Come let us take this holy sacrament
of the body and blood of Christ
in remembrance that he died for us, and
feed on Him in our hearts
by faith with thanksgiving.
Yours be the glory, risen, conquering Son;
endless is the victory, over death you’ve won;
angels in bright raiment rolled the stone away,
kept the folded grave clothes where thy body lay.
Refrain:
Yours be the glory, risen conquering Son,
Endless is the vict'ry, over death You’ve won.
Yours be the glory – 380 Australian Hymn Book II
See! Jesus meets us, risen from the tomb;
Lovingly he greets us, scatters fear and gloom;
let the Church with gladness, hymns of triumph
sing;
for the Lord is living, death hath lost its sting.
Refrain:
Yours be the glory, risen conquering Son,
Endless is the vict'ry, over death You’ve won.
No more we doubt thee, glorious Prince of life;
life is naught without thee; aid us in our strife;
make us more than conquerors, through thy
deathless love;
bring us safe through Jordan to Your home above.
Refrain:
Yours be the glory, risen conquering Son,
Endless is the vict'ry, thou o'er death hast won.
Post Communion PrayerFather,
We offer ourselves to you as a living sacrifice
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Send us out in
the power of your Spirit to live and work to
your praise and glory.
Go in peace to love and serve the Lord.Alleluia, Alleluia
