Work undertaken by: University of Durham, Archaeological Services The outbuildings complex includes a Listed barn, building B. There were no other historic statutorily protected buildings in the vicinity of the site. All of the structures on the site were of 19th and 20th century date. A pit found below the floor of the barn building dated to the 16th-18th century and probably predated the building. At least two phases of alterations to the farmhouse were noted; there had been a change to the height of the buildings, and chimney stacks had been altered. Two finds were removed from wall cavities in the farmhouse and the outbuildings, all dating to the 19th century.
