July 2012

Dear Friends:

Please accept my sincerest and warmest greetings as I welcome you all to the Inaugural East RegionalFatherhood and Healthy Families Summer Institute, hosted by Fathers and Families Coalition of

America. I am truly delighted and honored to take part in this Conference.

This Conference will bring together a diverse group of individuals who will take part in educational workshops, plenary sessions, and a national certification. The insights and experiences gained here overthe course of the Institute will be truly valuable.

Fathers and Families Coalition of America (FFCA) should be extremely proud of what they haveaccomplished since their founding in 1996; they have provided so many organizations who work with

fathers and families with the services they need. FFCA is devoted to the professional development of fatherhood and family services. They offer unique networking forums, national conferences, professional development venues, advocacy, and collaboration development.

As a father, a grandfather, and as a founding Board of Director for the Fathers and Families Coalition of  America, I know the importance of the services that they provide and I encourage everyone to take fulladvantage of the activities and educational workshops that have been planned for the East RegionalFatherhood and Healthy Families Summer Institute.

I offer my best wishes for an enjoyable and productive training.

Sincerely,
