Jeans project• Counterfeit jeans come from a warehouse,

and the young people remove the studs and buttons from them, thereby removing the identity. They then add a new identity and despatch the jeans back to the warehouse, who then send them to the Children Society Charity shops.

Woodwork project• Timber is sourced from local

companies, and a small group of young people use this to make garden planters and bird boxes and fences. These are then given to charities such as the Isabella Hospice or the Children’s Society

The Old Fire Station, Ware, where the jeans and woodwork projects take place
