Seat Belts
• CAREC Regional Road Safety Strategy
• Seat Belt survey found:
• Of 5,150 observations – 12.9% seat belt use
• Most were drivers
• No truck drivers/passengers belted
• Only 36% of belts in cars were working
• Just 5% of drivers were women
• Focus groups and stakeholder meetings
