Write a story ending with “I noticed a single drop of tear flow down her cheek.” There was a new girl in my tuition class. From the first day I met her, she had kept to herself and remained seated silently at a corner of the class. My girlfriends and I acted to be chirpy when we strode past her. Nevertheless, we were secretly peeking at her through the corner of our eyes. We found out that she was slim, had long straight hair and a pair of dazzlingly beautiful eyes. She was extremely good-looking. I was intrigued by the girl. She was not like us. She was classy, yet secretive. My curiosity grew strong. Once, I walked past her and saw her name, which was neatly written on the cover of her books. She had a lovely name – Anna. After a few days, my friends’ interests on Anna wore off. Shortly, I became the only one who still continued to observe her. Then, I realized something – She never stood, or walked, or moved. She sat on her chair in an almost steely manner. At almost every tuition session, she arrived before everyone else, and left after all students were gone. Why did Anna never move around in the class? What was her secret? My curiosity peaked. One day, as soon as the class ended, I bolted out and hid behind the ajar emergency exit door nearby. My heart trumped hard as I watched the students left in silence. Then, I saw Anna. She was limping. Her left calf was obviously so much shorter than her right one. Only then, I realized that I had invaded Anna’s privacy. What I did was despicable. In spite of this, I should have just approached her and asked her my questions. However, at that juncture, my mobile phone rang. I fumbled and the phone fell. To my utter despair, the phone slid right out of the door. Finally, it stopped right by Anna’s feet. “So, this is what you want to know,” Anna looked right at me, and said calmly. “I am a handicapped. There, you see it. Are you happy now?” After that, she limped away, and I never saw her again. Ernest Hemingway once said, “All things truly wicked start from innocence.” I never quite understood what the wise writer meant until the day I hurt Anna. What I thought was only curiosity turned out to be malicious. Till this day, I could never forget her tone, the sadness in her eyes, and the moment that as she turned, I noticed a single drop of tear flow down her cheek.
