Stakeholders: 21 social enterprises or social consortia based in the seven districts of Veneto Region: Belluno, Padua, Rovigo, Treviso, Venice, Verona and Vicenza.

Subjects: Austria (3rd-5th June) and Slovenia (22nd-23rd May) study visits options from the “EASE&SEE good practices catalogue”, declaration of interest for areas of work or business sectors to develop, to indicate profit entrepreneurs potential “testimonials” of profit-no profit cooperation model, to recommend strategies for the further steps of the project.

Areas of work or business sectorsThe main business sectors are:• Manufacturing industry (from assembly works to renewable energies tech)• Reuse and design (production of ecologic fashion accessories)• Tourism, Restaurant Industry, Organic Agriculture (with reference to a social and

accessible tourism market)

A social housing initiative starting form a “community plan” for unused public spaces, and a specific project for urban fabric cleaning were suggested by two different cooperatives.

The areas of work are the support of social enterprises by training and consulting to fill some critical gap:

• Communication for digital marketing, e-commerce for internationalization, etc.• Research and innovation for ecologic fashion design.• Strategies to improve retailing starting from successful products.• Management of the expansion of the enterprise in the case of booming market.• Creation of Forums or Events for the business to business sectors, etc.• Strategy for a territorial marketing to promote local social economy in the Venice District.
