Can’t seem to find the perfect earrings to go with your outfit for the weekend? Have no fear. Creating your own jewelry is easier than ever before with the ScanNCut machine from Brother!

Earrings

MATERIALS: Brother ScanNCut machine, quilters template material, markers,

metallic ink, rolling stamp, hole puncher, earring hooks

We’re going to use the leftover bits

from having cut a stencil design. One

of the great things about the Brother

ScanNCut machine is that you always

get two perfect pieces – a positive

and a negative – whenever you cut

something out.

Color the leaf shapes with markers

that will write on a slick surface like

the stencil film. I used four different

colors.

EARRINGS CONTINUED

step 3.Use silver metallic ink and a rolling

stamp to stamp a dot pattern onto

the leaves. Be sure to let the ink

dry before going on to the next

step.

step 4.Punch a hole in each of the leaves.

Use the smallest hole punch you

have.

Insert an earring hook through each of the holes. That’s it! You have a fabulous

new pair of earrings!
