Includes NewIntegrated BeamEasy. Secure. Lightweight.
After years of refined research, design, development and testing, that idea has become the Ontrack DXT1 Dual-Axis Solar Tracker. The DXT1 is built from the ground up to be a major improvement over anything else under the sun.
Compared to standard fixed-mounted systems, the DXT1 lets you harvest up to 45% more solar power. You’ll be able to track the sun at adjustable intervals from two seconds to ten minutes, all with a tracking accuracy of up to 0.1 degrees.
Although this efficiency is impressive – and the potential savings are obvious – it’s nothing compared to the engineering that makes it all happen.
The DXT1 has several next-generation technologies that will increase energy yield while decreasing costs in installation and maintenance. They include the Integrated Beam*, Universal Panel Mounting System, Full-Length Fastclamp Bar, TCX2 Tracker Controller, Ontrack App Service Tool, and more.
Ontrack Solar began a vision to create the lightest weight, most durable, most adaptable and easiest- to-install commercial-grade tracker in the industry.
DESIGNED TO GLIDE Our Integrated Beams* are manufactured from precision laser-cut, high quality steel formed into a laminated structural beam, much like that used in the aerospace industry. These Integrated Beams slide (adjust easily) into place and securely mount to the support assembly, thus creating the Panel Mounting System. Panels slide in and clamp along the full length of the beam, thus eliminating the need for traditional racking.
This patent-pending design is incredibly lightweight (60% less than traditional I-Beam made of structural steel), which means lower shipping costs and easier installation. Less weight also means reduced wear on your load-bearing and moving components, extending the life of your solar tracker.
BUILT TOUGHLightweight doesn’t mean light duty. In an independent Finite Element Application (FEA) test, the DXT1 received high ratings for wind load, with the DXT1 surviving winds up to 105 mph at a ten-degree elevation (nearly vertical) and a 1.5 factor of safety (FOS). Additionally, our split-panel design provides two unique benefits. First, it creates a Zero Center-of-Mass, balancing the elevation load and eliminating overhung weight. Once balanced, it takes almost no effort to move over 3,000 pounds of mass over its range of operation. This virtually eliminates linear actuator failure. Second, it features a gap that reduces the wind load on the DXT1.
The end result? A well-balanced tracker with fewer moving parts that reduces wear and operating costs. That’s a win-win!
AEROSPACE DESIGN Ontrack Solar Trackers are better looking, too. With a sleek and sophisticated approach to aesthetics, the DXT1 is pleasing to the eye. You’ll want to display your planet- and money-saving technology for all to see.
SPECIAL OPTIONS We know that our customers will use their trackers in different environments and have unique needs. Since we engineer and fabricate each piece ourselves right here in the USA, we have the ability to customize systems to meet your needs. Do you need custom colors or corrosion-resistant materials? Optional panel security screws? No problem. Contact us to discuss your project.

EASY PANEL INSTALLATION
Anemometer accurately monitors wind speed to protect your investment.
CALCULATING RETURN ON INVESTMENTOne of the most compelling aspects of solar arrays, and dual-axis trackers in particular, is their ability to maximize your solar investment by increasing your energy yield.
A solar PV installation that generates the most energy from the space and resources available is usually the most equitable solution. The DXT1 harvests maximum clean energy in a smart and cost-efficient way while better utilizing your land.
The Ontrack DXT1 Dual-Axis Tracker offers up to 45% more power yield than that of standard
fixed-mounted PV systems. This is accomplished by optimally positioning the solar array to accurately follow (track) the sun on two axes, vertical and horizontal. This makes each PV panel in the array generate more output, unlike fixed-mounted PV systems.
The Integrated Beams create the panel mounting system. This also reduces the project upfront costs because no additional racking hardware is required. The project payback time also decreases and thereby increases the overall return on investment (ROI).

Integrated Beam Support Assembly & Panel Racks
Now for the magic!
With our Integrated Beams, you can now customize the assembly to fit any panel size.
Easily slide beams up and down to proper panel width*, check for square, then fasten.
Secure integrated beams in place easily with supplied clamps. Repeat until all beam are in place.
Now, you are ready to easily add your panels ...
* Install Hint: Make “panel spacers” (out of 2x4s, 1x4s or plywood) to place on either end of integrated beams to set panel width. Repeat as you add each beam.
