Nancy Juetten who teaches portfolio workers and solopreneurs how to market themselves knows that for many of us distilling our story into a few short lines is a tall order

For portfolio workers whose gigs donrsquot necessarily complement each other itrsquos best to use a separate bio for each ldquoIf yoursquore a violin maker and an accountant or a jewelry maker and a sales person people donrsquot know where to file and find youmdashand may be disinclined to refer yourdquo she says ldquoNo one shops at the one-size fits all rack One bio does not suit all situationsrdquo
