From our Aerie PresidentGood day everyone. As we all know, the World is dealing with the very contagious Coronavirus and it has impacted all of our lives in so many ways. As of 3/19/20 we have closed our Aerie for precautionary measures. At this time, we do not know when we will reopen. When it is deemed safe to do so, we will eagerly reopen the doors. Everyone’s health and safety are our top concerns! You can see that everything is closing around us. The State Eagle has canceled many events and other Eagles have closed their doors. A lot of people are being asked to work from home, restaurants are closing, and we can’t find the many staples we rely on to survive. We can’t take this virus lightly and everything we do to prevent the spread is in everyone’s best interest. Please know that the Officers of your Eagle will be working behind the scenes to keep things running and will be doing everything possible to assure you have a safe environment to return to.We know there were a lot of events scheduled for the month of March and April but with our closing, we have decided to cancel all events until May 1, 2020. Some of those events can be rescheduled in the future. Though a lot of things have been put on hold, we haven’t forgotten about them. Please know that we are still offering the Scholarship program. We will resume accepting applications when we reopen. The nominations of new Officers, for the next fraternal year, usually take place in the month of April during our Business meetings. If we are unable to have these meetings, we will have those nomina-tions as soon as possible.I know that we all want our Aerie to be open. I have high hopes that this will be sooner than later. It is important that we take care of ourselves and watch over those around us. Don’t forget your Eagle brothers and sisters. Reach out to them and make sure they are doing okay. Please take this op-portunity to spend more time with your family and reflect on the many blessings we have been given. We should never take anything for granted and should live each day to its fullest. I pray for every-one’s safety and I hope we can all be together again soon! God Bless!Todd Patton, Aerie President

The Aerie home is closed until further notice. The Aerie and the Auxiliary are attempting to compile an email list that will allow us to update our members regarding this closure.
Please send me an email at [email protected] with your email address so you can be added to the list.
The Aerie Officers are trying to keep us all up to date and announcements regarding reopening will be made on the website (www.Eagles3204.com) and facebook (Fraternal Order of Eagles-Aerie 3204).
FOOD DRIVEDuring the month of February we serviced 81 house-holds with 282 individuals. This brings our year to date numbers to 184 households with 594 individuals. We are feeling larger amounts of clients during March due to the Coronavirus. Much of our food is purchased from the Food Bank of Southeastern Hampton Roads. They have closed their operation for re-evaluation purposes (3/17-3/20) so it imperative to obtain food from other sources. The items we are still in need of are breakfast items such as cereal or oatmeal. Any food donations are always welcome and will be utilized. Thank you all for your continued support of our food pantry.
