A premiere time share resort built in 1982, the Eagle’s Nest luxury beachfront resort overlooks the Gulf of Mexico on Florida’s southwest coast. Commercial Plumbing Solutions installed the Viega ManaBloc system for domestic hot and cold water in 26 condo units at Eagle’s Nest. They also selected Viega PEX Press fittings in sizes 1 / 2" and 3 / 4", installing around 10,000 feet of 1 / 2" ViegaPEX ™ tubing. Project Manager Anne Greenwell and her partner Rick Bidwell agreed that the greatest challenge Commercial Plumbing Solutions faced on the project was time. “The schedule was 30 days for the complete renovation,” Greenwell said. “The units were time shares and had to be completed as scheduled to make them available for the booked reservations.” Greenwell stated that the Viega ManaBloc system with the Viega PEX Press fitting system helped Commercial Plumbing Solutions save 50% of their installation time. “The Viega PEX Press system is a user friendly color-coded domestic water system that saves time and money on the install over other domestic water systems such as CPVC or copper,” Greenwell said. “The color-coded system provides confidence to allow for faster installation of the product.” Greenwell first heard about Viega systems from their local Viega sales representative, who worked with them on a daily basis to build a strong relationship that kept the project moving forward. “We had excellent support from our local Viega representative, who made regular visits to the job site,” Greenwell said. “He was always available, very knowledgeable and he always goes the extra mile to be sure we have all of the information, materials and training we need before we begin a job.”
Having the relationship with their Viega sales representative provided Commercial Plumbing Solutions with peace of mind.

With more than 15 years in the industry, Greenwell has installed other types of PEX and pipe joining systems but she feels that Viega systems stand out.
“Viega has a great quality system with easy installation,” Greenwell said. “I appreciate the quality and � exibility of the piping for installation in tight areas where other systems may be dif� cult to install.”
Greenwell has been installing Viega systems for more than 10 years and has previously installed Viega ProPress® systems in other projects.
