EAGLE.head™

Pantec Metrology offers a wide range of probe heads and scanning probes enhancing CMM performance and functionality. The whole product range is designed to work together as a coherent product line to cover almost all metrology applications. 20 years of experience in metrology and some 15,000 Pantec-controlled CMMs installed worldwide mean a very high level of a secure investment, and assure you of maximum benefits.

The EAGLE.head™ family consists of fast and robust probe heads – manual or motorized – made for accurate measure-ments with high throughput, seamlessly integrated to all Pantec controllers. High torque and rapid movement offer a high de-gree of flexibility. The available extensions (M8, PKJ) allow per-fect accessibility to the work piece and are offered in different lengths (max. 450 mm).

EAGLE.head i M8™The EAGLE.head i M8™ is a manual 15° probe head with M8 threaded connection for trigger probes and extensions, mounted via shank to the CMM. The single-handed indexing possibility in combination with a tactile and visual feedback results in conve-nient usability and operational readiness.

EAGLE.head m 7.5 M8™The EAGLE.head m 7.5 M8™ is the most reasonable solution for touch trigger probing featuring high speed rotation and torque. The motorized head with M8 coupling is mounted directly to the CMM via shank (alternatively for quill-mounting select the sm versions). The 7.5° indexing increment is capable of 720 positions.

EAGLE.head m 7.5 PKJ™The EAGLE.head 7.5 PKJ™ features the same specifications as the M8 version but with kinematic joint. This multiwire connection allows the use of multiple sensor types, e.g. scanning probes.

EAGLE.scan™ is a tactile, high accuracy 3D scanning probe pro-viding outstanding scanning performance for almost unlimited applications. EAGLE.scan™ supports all probing modes, reaching impressive accuracy and speed, especially in combination with the EAGLE™ controllers featuring Scan 2.0. Thermal neutrality, wide measuring range and efficient calibration processes ensure outstanding measurement results and high versatility. Styli up to 225 mm can be used without any additional modules.

EAGLE.scan™ rapidly collects thousands of data points for meaningful evaluation of complex components. Thanks to the kinematic joint, EAGLE.scan™ easily attaches tightly to the Pantec EAGLE.head m 7.5 PKJ™. This combination ensures the use of long styli with small diameters to reach all the part features, especially with complex work pieces. The complete EAGLE combination supports single point probing, high-speed scanning, and self-centering modes.

EAGLE.ac™Additionally the PKJ mount allows changing the probes on the Pantec automatic probe changer, EAGLE.ac™ which is available with 3, 5 or 9 sockets. With this system probes can be exchanged automatically from the probe head without requalifying.

EAGLE.touch™ - TOuCH TRIGGER PROBES & STYLI

EAGLE.p touch™The EAGLE.p touch™ series is a 5-way touch trigger probe which is connected directly to the head or adapter via M8 winding. Four different forces and stylus lengths up to 60 mm are suited for a wide range of applications.

EAGLE.mp touch™The mp touch series consists of two parts: the probe body, which is mounted directly to the head or adapter and the 5-way probe module. These are connected through highly repeatable mag-netic coupling, resulting in fast and easy changing. The probe modules are available in four versions of the same size but with different trigger forces. In combination with the EAGLE CMM products the EAGLE.mp touch™ is the perfect product for tactile measurements. The probe module can be changed automati-

cally with the passive tool changer system EAGLE.tc™ or the automatic version EAGLE.ac™.

EAGLE.p touch R™EAGLE. p touch R™ is a robust and accurate touch trigger probe with adjustable trigger force, mounted via M8 winding to the probe head. This probe can be used with many CMM systems and can operate in any industrial environment, like the shop floor.

EAGLE.tc™The passive tool change rack is available with 2, 4 or 6 sockets and with heights of 90 or 150 mm and is designed for EAGLE.mp touch™ modules. Similarly to the automatic probe changer, the EAGLE.tc™ allows probe changing without requalifying.
