Interior Street Facing Fence Guideline RevisedAt the March 3rd, 2016 Board meeting, the Board of Directors
made and passed a motion to approve fence cap and bottom rot boards on interior street facing fences, so long as the fence does not exceed 6 feet in height (with or without the cap and bottom boards). The Board will be re-writing the guidelines to meet this new standard.
If you recently received a deed violation letter asking for you to remove the trim cap and bottom rot boards from your fence at left and/or right, please disregard the notice at this time. Each account has been notated and the violation has been closed out per the Board’s decision.

The Pool Committee and several volunteers will be at the Eagle Springs Clubhouse (12520 Will Clayton Parkway) to issue pool cards to all residents needing pool cards. You will need a new pool card if you are a new resident (including new members of your family) or if you do not have available space at the bottom of your existing pool card for a 2016 sticker. These days are designed to allow all residents to receive new cards during the times allotted.
* April 5 (Tuesday) 6 to 8 pm* April 12 (Tuesday) 6 to 8 pm
* April 14 (Thursday) 6 to 8 pm* April 16 (Saturday) 8 am to noon* April 30 (Saturday) 8 am to noon
* May 10 (Tuesday) 6 to 8 pm* May 12 (Thursday) 6 to 8 pm
*May 16 (Monday) 6-9 pm
If residents only need a sticker (you must have an open space at the bottom of the card that says 2016), this may be done now during office hours. New pool cards are not available during office hours until after May 16th. Please choose a time above that meets your family's schedule best.
For every new pool card made during the 8 volunteer times only, residents will receive pool cards for $2 each. Also, please note that pool
card prices will be $5 each after May 16th. During these times, we will have 2 stations with 2 printers going at the same time. This will not be the case when the Onsite Office begins processing pool cards. Get your pool cards done during these 8 times to expedite the process and avoid increasing pool card costs!

Expecting Out of Town Guests?Many of you have friends and family that use
your guestroom. Here are a few tips on making them feel welcome in your home.
Consider buying or cutting some fresh flowers and put them on the dresser. This will help brighten the room and make your guests feel welcome. You could also lay out a couple good books or a magazine. Most people will enjoy flipping through a home magazine or a celebrity magazine. This will make an excellent addition on the nightstand next to a bedside lamp. It isn’t uncommon for one of your guests to be a night owl. When you have a bedside lamp in the room, the early riser can sleep while their spouse can stay up all night finishing their favorite book. Don’t forget to leave a couple extra pillows.
Nothing says comfort like a soft pile of plush pillows on a big bed. This will make the bed look nice and inviting. And last but not least, leave a universal charger in the room. One of the worst things to forget is a charger for a cell phone, laptop or tablet. We all forget things when we travel and this could save your guest a trip to the local convenient store. Universal chargers aren’t very expensive and it can keep all their devices charged up and ready to go.
You don’t have a guest room? Is it time to buy a bigger house? Feel free to call the Tracy Montgomery team if you want to see homes in the area. We can help you every step of the way and would love to help you with the listing or buying process.

After having to reschedule, then cancel, last year due to rain, the Spring Egg-stravaganza was back on March 5th, with beautiful weather to boot! Over 8000 eggs were quickly gathered by eager kids, while others rode rides, pet baby animals, and participated in different games and crafts.
New this year were food trucks! We look forward to having more trucks at future events. New next year will also be an added egg hunt, further subdividing the age categories. Watch next year as we grow and improve this event!

Damn Yankees, the Broadway mega-hit and winner of seven TONY Awards including Best Musical, hits it out of the park! This award-winning musical comedy “plays” on the Garza Mainstage April 22 - May 15, 2016.
The Washington Senators are a bad baseball team, and fan Joe Boyd just wants them to beat the “damn” Yankees. He wants a win so badly that he’s willing to sell his soul to the devil. When Applegate, otherwise known as the Devil, offers Boyd this exact deal, a Faustian legend comes to life. Based on the novel The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant, with a winning score by Adler and Ross, and a devilish book by George Abbott, this sporty, musical comedy is a true American classic.
Managing this team of talented players is Michael Montgomery (Director), Jennifer Stewart (Music Director), Barbara Terry (Costume Design), Amelia Templeton (Scenic Design), Ron Putterman (Lighting Design), David Dean (Sound Design) and Emily Toothman (Stage Manager).
Montgomery explained, “We are bringing the 1950s back with big, bold dance numbers that will draw on musical theatre standards set by choreography legend, Bob Fosse. Careful attention is being paid to the period look with costumes, set, props, choreography and acting. It will be visually stunning and closely designed to the 1950 period. The strong dance numbers in this show also allowed us to draw on some of the city’s best dancers and some larger-than-life actors. We spent time working closely with the styling of baseball played during the period, which included professional baseball instruction and coaching as part of our rehearsal process.”
The cast of Damn Yankees brings some HFAC favorites back to the stage, including: Taylor Fisher (Joe Boyd), last seen as Sparky in Forever Plaid; Mark Mendelsohn (Applegate) you may remember as the Cardinal from The Three Musketeers; Larry Luck (Joe Hardy), Cinderella’s prince during Into the Woods; and Chris Gibson (Coach Van Buren) was the sinister Mr. Potter in It’s A Wonderful Life. Other teammates are Amy Hohulin (Meg Boyd), Nora Hahn (Doris), Sister
