Division 3 South Banquet Club Officers show off awards received that night.

The Division 3 South banquet was a

night where members and officers

could celebrate the past year of service

and recognize the clubs and members

that truly stood out. The night began

with awards being given out to the

officers and clubs that did that extra

hour of service, fundraising, and

overall dedication to our organization.

As the night progressed, talent acts

were performed in the form of dance

or song and the rest of the awards were presented. Eagle Rock was presented with “Most fund raised” and “Most Service

Hours”. Our IP President, Danielle Peterson was awarded with “Distinguished

President”. However, there was another member, Kevin Vu Kim from John Marshall

Key Club, was recognized as “Member of the Year” and truly deserved it. His

undying dedication and passion towards Key Club, along with his immense amount

of service hours, has been proved all throughout the year and has been fully

recognized. Although he shall miss him as he is off to college, his legacy will never be

forgotten.

The night came to a close with final statements made by the IP Division

Leadership Team and our IP LTG, Marion Barleta, along with other members who

wished to say a farewell to the division. The banquet concluded with dancing the

night away on the dance floor and signing farewell notes on posters for the IP DLT.

Member Recognition Member of the Month:

Ronel Hernandez

So far this summer, there have not been many service events for our members to attend. However, Ronel goes out of his way to do whatever he can to help out

his club. For example, Ronel has been selling popsicles as a small fundraiser for our club to earn a little extra money for expenses we would have to pay for in the

future. Everytime Ronel attends a Key Club event, her performs service, with a smile. Keep up the good work!

Officer of the Month:

Caitlin Ner

Caitlin Ner has been elected as our 2013-2014 Eagle Rock High School Key Club President. She believes that there is always room for improvement and works

hard each and everyday in order for our club to accomplish its goals, such as an increase in membership and service hours. Last year alone, she performed

103 hours of service as our Club Secre-tary, and constantly kept her MRF’s up-to-date and in tip-top shape. There in no doubt that Caitlin will not do a

phenomenal job as Club President!
