E3 Structural DesignE3 Structural Design is in accordance with EUROCODE:•EC3 [Steel Structure]

•EC8 [Seismic Design & Composite Structural Systems]

EUROCODE compliance ensures obtaining of planning and

building permits, as well as a safe environment for the tenant

with regards to earthquakes, winds and thermal

expansions/contractions.

E3 Structural Design includes documentation and guidance to

actions required for issuing an ENERGY CERTIFICATE [Class “A”]

for the Buildings according to the EU direction 2002/91/EC.

E3 Structural Design supports ANY Electromechanical

Technology (e.g. Home automation, geothermal pumps, solar

panels etc), and offers much more EASIER installation: it adopts

the Electrical Design to regional constrains/directions!

E3 Building Materials Steel Structures: this enables a structural construction system with no loading bearing on the walls.Steel has a widespread reputation for its:High Strength / Weight ratio making it an attractive option for the construction of High-rise buildings, Long-Span bridges and structures located in highly seismic areasFast Construction – steel structures can be erected quite rapidly thereby enabling quick time-to-market.High Ductility since it can withstand large plastic deformation before failure, thus providing a large reserve strength.

E3 Building MaterialsWooden Frames: these are used for the construction of the Roof, Floors and External/Internal Walls. Wood is an organic, hygroscopic and anisotropic material. Its thermal, acoustic, electrical, mechanical, aesthetic and working properties make it most suitable for the construction of E3 buildings. It is emphasised that all wood used is dried up to 20% humidity and specially treated for fire resistance and against timber worms.

ECO Wool Insulation: ECO-Wool is a mineral wool produced 100% from recycled wool and paper and specially treated with antipyrine and anticeptic. ECO Wool further enhances the thermal conductivity and fire resistance of the walls and roofs at a very low cost.

E3 Building MaterialsCellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) boards: CLC boards are produced by introducing micro-sized air bubbles in the cement-based mixture. The additional use of expanded polystyrene in the mixture enhances:Thermal conductivity and performance (thermal performance is 10 times better as compared to conventional CLC)Sound Insulation: up to 42db sound reduction can be achievedWater Resistance: can resist water absorption up to 90%.Resistance to Fire: can withstand heat transmission for up to 5 hours without releasing toxic fumes.

In alternation, traditional cement or gypsum boards could be used in the case that local regulations requires it.

E3 Construction SchemeIn addition to E3 Structural Design and BuildingMaterials, E3 Construction Scheme is provided toconstructor that enables him to construct the buildingwith optimised costs in respect of labor andequipment.E3 Construction could be based on prefabricated walls(panels) or to be performed directly at constructionsite through assembling of delivered E3 BuildingMaterials.In any case, E3 Construction Scheme includesnormative concerning labor and equipment that allowsthe constructor to assemble E3 Building materials inten minutes per square meter of the building!
