“NEWLY BOUGHT BIKE OF MINE”Of: Ma. Eunice P. Opinaldo.

Page 4: E U N I C E

On the middle of the dayAt the peak of sun’s raysCame to me a great thrill

Of strolling to an open viewWith my newly bought bike

Asking Papa, “Can I go with my bike?”

Gladly, he let me, for just oneOne great reminder, “ just beside the house.”

Pretendingly, I nod, knowing I’m notJust to be there, but, somewhere far beside there.

Strolling, strolling, strollingAs those of my bike was rolling

As I go to the open viewSeeing all people around as to play

Along the grounds of subdivisions park

Page 5: E U N I C E

Suddenly, a man with a conspicuous lookCame near to me, asking for

For some favor, of ifHe can use this newly bought bike of mine

Letting me know he has something toGet of I don’t knowI nod, and let him.

Seconds and minutes I’ve wait for him

As I see the sun’s rays goes downI’m bit confused, I’m bit afraid.

Not knowing it takes hours of waitingUntil realizing that you’ve taken away from me

The newly bought bike of mine.

A beautiful nature around meThe mountain and trees that I always seeThat gives energy in my daily activityAnd I do it day by day.

I work and play everydayI do it night and dayMy soul and body likes to fly awayIt is because I’m too busy like a bee

The night came and the day passedBecause I enjoy working the time is too fastI want to sleep but I can’tSo I guard the house a lot of manna.

In a room my body was laid on bedBut I feel something and I’m not to stayThere’s something creeping and playingSo I called his attention and he barked.

You’re there again. So gladBeing with your tiny enchanting toy cars

A world of whereYour control is dwelling

I can’t help but to chuckle

From the distance – II can see, those smiles

Those infectious joy thatObsess you my bro, can be

As true as the cheer of a babe

For anything, everythingThat brings pleasure to you

You let these to be compact with your world of playThat thrills more your game

Even the one others think of no use

Page 10: E U N I C E

Huge books on our shelfGlassy cups and plates on dish containerIs lied before your eyesTo make complete ofYour world of play throughThe middle age of our house

I hear those bangs and cracksVaried sounds of clashes along wallsOf those dropping toy cars of yoursOf flying books, plates and glasses

And with those you’re filled with joyOn the point of noticing nothing

My Importanceby: Ruth Vinluan

Page 12: E U N I C E

How special am I You gave me everything You keep on looking at me Checking everything to be right   Keeping hazards away from me Preparing everything I need Giving the best for me Sometimes even expensive   Asking others how was it What do they think Trying to make me perfect That no one can say anything   After a while, what did you do? Ignore me and throw me away Well who am I to you? I’m just a used napkin.

REVERSE

Page 14: E U N I C E

Days start againWith mask in my face

That I cannot remove itBecause I’m not on it

 Activities were done

Without being serious on itBecause of masked ignorance

That deny the real I am

Until dark comes inMy misery comes outSecret comes revealsAnd unknown denied

Night claims me to be true

Because darkness sets me freeNot like the brightest dayThat hinders me to be free

Zany became crazyBy: Ruth Vinluan

Page 18: E U N I C E

We tend to be happy ‘ though we’re not Laugh because everybody’s laughing Pretending we don’t know how to cry Giving advice to problems we don’t encounter Making people happy While we’re in sorrow Being Zany to someone For we want to be happy Escaping the reality Hiding the real you And become zany to others Making their life so colorful At the end of the day You are again alone and No one’s willing to be a zany for you Until you become crazy

Stressed at night but comfortableWhen I used to seat on you butt.

And used to lay on your headOoh, how magnificent you are.

I might not be without elongated neck

That comprises your soft butt and headYou make me big and you make me smallWhenever I pulled your one hand along

Along your shiny one leg, but most of allYour five feet with five wheel

Of foundation that makes you beautiful.

ABUSE

Of: Ruby Ann Gonzales

Page 22: E U N I C E

Happiness hides its face from me Loneliness is my company The past that I can’t replace My life is like the air that I can’t activate   Every morning is a misery day for me Suffering makes me a slavery Memory I can’t erase The love I can’t embrace   I don’t know what love means to me It’s like a gold that was stolen from me I know this story is my crown I can stand even I fall on the ground

MURDER OF JEALOUS

By Jeremy Lillef

Page 24: E U N I C E

The day of the eventI don’t expect that sceneWhen I saw a body drainedThe blood flew and the dead laid

But I don’ know what to doI kill my best friend by bowAnd a knife that I used, I threwMy conscience is telling me not to go

So the policeman came to meTied my hand of sin and I seeI see a blood in his body layBecause of the alcohol I took, he paid

Now, I’m in a vertical iron roomI can’t forget the day I kill the groomToday is he’s marriage but he is in the tombBecause I’m jealous in the bride and the throne.

Shopping under the rain Enjoys whatever it sees Laughing with no reasons Then locked by multiple eyes   I tried to find the key But it took me long until – Unlocked by a well – known stranger My heart jumps as he wanted to run   My body wanted too, But too late to run Then I found myself wiping the stairs

By the magic of “basi”
