BALLPARK RECIPES FOR MOM Recipe SOFT PRETZEL 1 Cup + 2 Tablpꝏns Wat (70° to 80°) 3 Cups A-Purpose Flour 3 Tablpꝏns Brn Sugar 1 ½ Teaspꝏns Ac Dry Yeast 2 Quarts Wat ½ Cup Baking Soda Coarse Salt 1) In bread machine pan, place the first 4 ingredients in ord suggted by manufactur. Select dough seing (check dough aſt 5 minut of mixing; add 1 to 2 Tablpꝏns wat or flour if needed). 2) When cycle is completed, turn dough to a lightly floured surface. Divide dough into 8 bas. Rl each into a 20” rope; form into etzel shape. 3) Preheat on to 425°F. In a large saucepan, ing wat and baking soda to a boil. Drop etzels into boiling wat, 2 at a me; boil for 10-15 secds. Remo with a sloed spꝏn; drain pap tels. 4) Place etzels greased baking sheets. Bake unl gden brn, 8-10 minut. Sitz or lightly ush with wat. Sinkle with salt.

Recipe CHEESEBURGER• ½ Cup Seas�ed Bread Crumbs• 1 Large Egg, lightly beaten• ½ Teasp�n Salt• ½ Teasp�n Pepp�

• 1 lb Ground Beef• 1 Tabl�p�n Oli� Oil• 4 S�ame Seed Hamburg� Buns, split• Toppings of your choice

1) In a large b�l, combine bread crumbs, egg, salt and pepp�. Add beef; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into four ½” thick pa¢i�. Pr�s a shaow indenta¦� in the cent� of each with your thumb. Brush both sid� of pa¢i� with oil.

2) Gri burg�s, co�red, o�r medium heat or broil 4” «om heat 4-5 minut� � each side or un¦l a th�momet� reads 160°F. S�ve � buns with toppings.

Recipe CHEESE FRIES

1) Arrange the steak �i� in a single lay� in 2 greased 15” x 10” x 1” baking pans. Bake at 450°F for 15-18 minut� or un�l tend� and g�den br�n.

2) Meanwhile, in a sma saucepan, combine the soup, milk, garlic p�d� and �i� p�d�; heat through. Drizzle o£r �i�; s¤inkle with pa¤ika.

Recipe CHURROS• ½ Cup Wat�• ½ Cup 2% Milk• 1 Tabl�pn Can�a Oil• ¼ Teaspn Salt• 1 Cup A-Purpose Flour

• 1 Large Egg, rm temp�ature• ¼ Teaspn Grated Lem� Z�t• Addi��al oil for �ying• ½ Cup Sugar• ¼ Teaspn Ground Cinnam�

1) In a large saucepan, �ing the wat�, milk, oil and salt to a boil. Add flour a at �ce and s¨r un�l a smth ba forms. Transf� to a large bªl; let stand for 5 minut�.2) Beat � medium-high speed for 1 minute or un�l the dough so¯ens. Add egg and lem� z�t; beat for 1-2 minut�. Set aside to cl.3) In a deep cast-ir� or heavy skiet, heat 1 in. oil to 375°F. Ins�t a large star �p in a pasºy bag; fi with dough. On a baking sheet, pipe dough into 4” sºips.4) Transf� sºips to skiet and �y un�l g�den brªn � both sid�. Drain � pap� tªels. Combine the sugar and cinnam¿; sÀinkle oÁr churros. S�ve warm.

Recipe CARAMEL CORN• 2 Tabl�p�ns Vegetable Oil, plus more for the baking sheet• ⅓ Cup Popcorn K nels (�ef ably mushr�m k nels)• 1 Cup Sugar• 3 Tabl�p�ns Dark Corn Syrup

• 2 Tabl�p�ns M�a��• 2 Teasp�ns Roasted Peanut Oil• Kosh  Salt• ½ Cup Raw Peanuts

1) Put the �getable oil and a few t�t popcorn k nels in a large pot. Heat o�r medium-high heat un�l the k nels pop, then carefuy add the remaining k nels in a single lay . Co�r and c�k, shaking the pot, un�l th e are se�ral sec¤ds between pops. Transf  the popcorn to a b¦l. Lightly oil a baking sheet.

2) Wipe out the pot, then add the sugar, corn syrup, m�a��, peanut oil, ¼ Teasp�n salt and the peanuts. C�k o�r medium-high heat, sªrring o«en, un�l a candy th momet  regist s 290°F, about 8 minut�. Remo� ²om the heat and s³r in the popcorn un�l coated. Transf  the caramel corn to the �epared baking sheet and let c�l, then break into sma piec�. µush with wat . S�inkle with salt.
