Bureau Veritas To ISO 9001: 2008 Certification Nexans Kabelmetal Nigeria Plc. has achieved anoth-er great feat in Quality Certification process, with the utmost desire to satisfy our customers. After rigorous Quality Management System audit-ing, involving two–stage process, the company has been certified by Bureau Veritas to ISO 9001:2008 certification. Thus, our Quality management System, which scope is the “Manufacture and sales of Electrical Power, Telecommunications and Instrumentation Cables” is internationally approved by UKAS Management Sys-tem. Nexans Kabelmetal Nigeria Plc. is the first cable manufacturing company in Nigeria to achieve such certification.

14th Lagos Housing Fair : Nexans Kabelmetal Nigeria Plc will be participating in the 14th Lagos Housing Fair which is holding from 28th April to 3rd May 2014 at DE BLUE ROOF PAVILLION, LAGOS TELEVISION AGIDINGBI, IKEJA, LAGOS. We look forward to welcoming you at our stand (No 37) on these days. We will be showcasing our cable so-lutions for building projects, ranging from building wires, low and medium voltage power cables, aluminium conductors, control cables and instrumentation cables.

Beware of Fake Kabelmetal Cables: In response to the increasing incidence of the faking of Kabelmetal products, Nexans Kabelmetal Nigeria Plc is embarking on a public awareness campaign to educate its customers on the authorized outlets where original Kabelmetal cables are sold. Please look out for our advertisement on Monday editions of the Guardian, and Tuesday editions of Vanguard for the comprehensive list of authorized outlets where genuine Kabelmetal products are sold.

Nexans NOCACO Limited Kaduna NIGERIA New MD For NOCACO

Following the redeployment of Mr. Robert Kretschmer to Nexans Kablemetal Nigeria Plc Lagos, as the Managing Director in December 2013, Mr. Nico Van Grieken assumed the responsibility as the new Managing Director, of Nexans NOCACO Ltd, since January 2014. .

NEXANS BUSINESS & CUSTOMERS FORUM 2014 Business generally began a little slow in terms of market share as a result of current political situation affect-ing some parts of the Country. Despite the current situation in the Northern part of the Country, business has started picking-up. We expect to increase our market share and report a good performance this year. On February 22nd 2014, the Management organized a customer’s forum which was attended by distributors and other customers. The focus of the forum was to interact with customers, suppliers; distributors as well as con-tractors to enable the company to have feedback on areas of improvement and how best to meet with their needs in terms of satisfaction. The forum was a success as more awareness on substandard cables and their effects were duly highlighted. NEXANS NOCACO IN ADAMAWA A construction firm – Deck Engineering has awarded Nexans NOCACO Limited a contract to supply power network cables for electrification project within ABTI Private University axis. This effort by a privately owned school is to enable the State have more conducive educational atmosphere. KANO HOUSING PROJECTS In continuation of Kano housing Project, the State government a paid huge amount of money to its contrac-tors for the purchase of various sizes of cables in Nexans NOCACO for project continuation of Amana, Kwankwasiyya and Bindarawo projects within the metropolis. NEXANS TO SUPPLY DESIGN AGE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY Abuja based Company – Design Age Construction Company a specialist in electrical works has awarded Nexans NOCACO a contract to supply cables ranging from power network cables and conduit wiring cables for electrification project within Abuja town.
