Holding us together
As evangelist Louie Giglio waswinding down a Passion Move-ment tour in Texas, a molecularbiologist came up to introducehimself. Giglio mentioned hewas heading home to Atlanta to
preach some sermons about theglory of God in the human body.
When the scientist discoveredthat Giglio still needed a big
hook for the talks, he begandescribing laminin, a cell-adhesion molecule that holdsthe bodys membranes together. The scientist encouraged Giglioto go home and look up lamininon the Internet.
When the image appeared on his screen, Giglio was amazed. The molecule that literally holds people together is in the shapeof a cross! Giglio immediately thought of Pauls words about Je-sus in Colossians 1:17 in him all things hold together.
The next time your life seems to be falling apart, look up animage of laminin. Then remember that Jesus holds you togetherthrough his victory over death on the cross. -The NEWSLETTER Newsletter

Pointers on Gardening?
Theres the story of the minister who was making a wooden trellis to support aclimbing vine.
As he was pounding away, he noticed that a little boy was watching him. The young-
ster didnt say a word, so the preacher kept on working, thinking the lad wouldleave. But he didnt.
Pleased at the thought that his work was being admired, the pastor finally said,Well, son, trying to pick up some pointers on gardening?
No, he replied. Im just waiting to hear what a preacher says when he hits histhumb with a hammer.
