Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi under chairmanship of Shri P. K. Gupta, Director (I/c) MSME-

DI Ranchi, Ministry of MSME, GOI in association with HPCL, Ranchi organised State Level

Vendor Development programme on 01.08.2019. The programme was attended by Sri

Binod Kumar, State Head, NSSH, Sri Sandeep Pal, Sr. Manager, HPCL, Ranchi , Sri Manas

Boro, Sr. Manager, HPCL, Ranchi, Sri Gaurav, Assistant Director, MSME-DI and 35 Nos. of

MSMEs. The programme was coordinated by Sri Sandeep Singh, Investigator, MSME-DI

Ranchi.

MSME-DI, Ranchi, Ministry of MSME, GOI in association with Department of Industries,

Govt. of Jharkhand on 02.08.2019 organised a Seminar on E-Commerce Promotion in

Jharkhand- Opportunities and Challenges under chairmanship of Sri K. Ravi Kumar,

Secretary Industries, Govt. of Jharkhand.The programme was attended by Ms. Vijaya

lakshmi, SP Cyber Crime, Govt. of Jharkhand, Sri P.K. Gupta, Director I/c, MSME-DI, Ranchi,

Sri Ajay Kumar Singh, CEO, MMLKUVB Sri Pawan Kaul, Co Chairman of E-Commerce

Committee of FICCI, New Delhi, Sri Prashant Kumar, CSC-E-Governance, Sri Lalit Kumar,

Head IS Audit Bhandan Bank, Kolkata, Officials from Director of Industries, GM DICs,

Officials and District coordinators of MMLKUVB & JHARCRAFT. The programme was

coordinated by Sri Gaurav, Assistant Director, MSME-DI Ranchi.

MSME-DI Ranchi, Ministry of MSME, GOI under chairmanship of Shri P.K Gupta, Director

(I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi in association with MECON, Ranchi organised State Level Vendor

Development progarmme on 14.08.2019 at Ranchi. The programme was attended, Sri S.K.

Verma, GM, Contract, Sri Neelesh, Jt GM Contract, Sri Sandeep Sinha, DGM HRD and Senior

officials of MECON, office bearers of Industries association like Laghu Udyog Bharti, TICCI,

JSIA and 55 nos. of MSMEs.. The programme was coordinated by Sri Gaurav, Assistant

Director, MSME-DI Ranchi.

Officer of MSME-DI Ranchi under Chairmanship of Director(I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi

organised Pension Adalat on 23.08.2019 at MSME-DI Ranchi. The event was attended by

12 nos. of pensioners and officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad.

Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi, Ministry of MSME, GOI under chairmanship of Shri P.K. Gupta,

Director(I/c), MSME-DI Ranchi in association with Federation of Chambers of Commerce

and Industries (FJCCI) and Gumla Chamber of Commerce organized a awareness

programme on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)”at Rotary club, Gumla on

25.08.2019.The programme was attended by Sri Amit Keshri, President, Gumla Chamber

of Commerce, Sri Amit Maheswari, Regional Vice President, FJCCI, Sri Rajesh Gupta,

Secretary, Gumla Chambers of Commerce, Dr. Sreenivasamurthy M.R. Associate Professor,

National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi and 55 nos. of Participants.

During the programme Dr. Sreenivasamurthy M.R delivered talk on Patent, Industrial

design, Copyrights, Trade mark, trade secrets. Director (I/c) and Officials of MSME-DI

Ranchi also delivered talks on Geographical Indications and Schemes of Ministry of MSME.

The programme was coordinated by Sri Bidyapati Patra, Assistant Director, MSME-DI

Ranchi.

Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi delivered lecture on the schemes of O/o DC(MSME) during

EDP training organised by National Metallurgical Laboratory at NIFFT, Hatia,Ranchi on

27.08.2019.

Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad under chairmanship Director (I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi in

association with Jharkhand Industries and Trade Association (JITA) & Federation of

Dhanbad Zila Chamber of Commerce and Industries organised an awareness programme

on GeM on 28.08.2019 at Union Club Dhanbad .The programme was attended by 52 nos.

of participants and 08 nos. of guests. The programme was coordinated by Shri Prabhakar

Prasad, Asstt. Director, Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad.

Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad under chairmanship of Director(I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi

organised State Level Vendor Development Programme in association with Bokaro Steel

Plant (SAIL) on 29.08.2019 at Bokaro. The programme was attended by 48 nos. of MSMEs

and 5 nos. of participants from Bokaro Steel Plant (SAIL).The programme was

Coordinated by Shri Sujeet Kumar, Investigator, Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad.

Officer of MSME-DI Ranchi organized Industrial Motivational Campaign for educated

unemployed youth on 29-30.08.2019 at Government ITI, Hasker, Garhwa. The programme

was attended by 110 nos. of participants. The programme was coordinated by Sri Sandeep

Singh, Investigator, MSME-DI Ranchi.

Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC) has been established at MSME-DI,

Ranchi. The centre was inaugurated by Shri P. K. Gupta, Director (I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi on

30.08.2019 in presence of officers and staff of this office.

Officer of MSME-DI Ranchi participated and delivered talks on schemes of Ministry of

MSME during an event of World Tribal Day organized by Tribal Chamber of Commerce &

Industries on 09.08.2019 at Tribal Culture Centre,Sonari, Jamshedpur. During the event

plantation drive was also conducted.

MSME-DI, Ranchi, Ministry of MSME, GOI organized a meeting on 21.08.2019 at Ranchi

under the Chairmanship of Sri K. Ravi Kumar, Secretary Industries, Govt. of Jharkhand for

organizing Udyam Samaagam and for identification of Marketing Haat in the state of

Jharkhand which was attended by Sri Dipankar Panda, MD, JHARCRAFT, Govt. of

Jharkhand, Sri P.K. Gupta, Director I/c, MSME-DI, Ranchi, Sri Ajay Kumar Singh, CEO,

MMLKUVB, Officials of MMLKUVB & JHARCRAFT. The meeting was coordinated by Sri

Gaurav, Assistant Director, MSME-DI Ranchi.

MSME-DI, Ranchi, Ministry of MSME, GOI organised meeting on 22.08.2019 under the

Chairmanship of Sri K. Ravi Kumar, Secretary Industries, Govt. of Jharkhand for

Advertisement of Bamboo products of Jharkhand on E- Commerce platform including

training of officials for listing, registration etc. The meeting was attended by Sri Dipankar

Panda, MD, JHARCRAFT, Govt. of Jharkhand, Sri P.K. Gupta, Director I/c, MSME-DI, Ranchi,

Sri Ajay Kumar Singh, CEO, MMLKUVB, Ms. Anamika Chopra, Associate Director -

Partnership & strategic Initiatives, Snapdeal, New Delhi, Sri Mahesh Pratap Singh, Head-

Sustainability and Social Responsibility, Flipkart, Bengaluru, Sri Sumanta Dey Corporate

Affairs, Flipkart, New Delhi, Officials of MMLKUVB, JHARCRAFT and few NGOs and

Organisation involved in production and selling of Bamboo products. The meeting was

coordinated by Sri Gaurav Kumar, Assistant Director, MSME-DI Ranchi.

MSME-DI Ranchi organised Hindi Meeting under chairmanshipn of Director(I/c) MSME-DI

Ranchi on 22.08.2019. The meeting was attended by the officers of MSME-DI Ranchi & Br.

MSME-DI Dhanbad and staffs of MSME-DI Ranchi.

Director(I/c) along with officers of MSME-DI Ranchi attended a meeting on 28.08.2019 at

MMLKUVB under chairmanship of Secretary Industries for organising Udyam Samagam in

all districts of Jharkhand .The meeting was also attended by Director Industries, CEO

MMLKUVB, MD Jharcraft, all GM DICs ,District Coordinators of respective districts of

MMLKUVB.

Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi and Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad under chairmanship of

Director(I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi conducted Plantation Drive at various industrial units of

Jharkhand such as M/s Hi -Tech Refractory, Marar Industrial Area, M/s Arya Coke,

Hazaribag, M/s R. S. Coke,Mara, Hazaribag, M/s Raj Enterprises, Barahi, Hazaribag, M/s

Ormanjhi Rice Mill Pvt. Ltd, Ormanjhi, M/s. Jharkhand Fuels, Brwa east, Dhanbad ,M/s.

Technician Enterprises, Govindpur, Dhanbad,M/s. Ashoka Foundry, BIADA, Bokaro etc

during the month of August,2019.

Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad conducted Cleanliness Drive from 02.8.19 to 03.08.19 at

the campus of Br. MSME-DI, Dhanbad.

Other Activities

• Director(I/c) along with officers of MSME-DI Ranchi visited Secretary Industries, Govt. of

Jharkhand for Udyam Samagam and Marketing hat on 03.08.2019.

• Director(I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi attended training programme on IPR at Shillong from 06-11.08.

• Officer of MSME-DI Ranchi visited Ramgarh Engineering College,Ramgarh,BITT Polytecnic

college,Getlatu,University Polytecnic college,BIT Mesra, Girija Institute of Polytecnic to check the

possibilities for organizing training programmes under E-SDP scheme.

• Director (I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi on chaired a meeting on issues and problems faced by MSMEs in

the state for sending comments on the compiled problems statement received from HQ which

was attended by variousIndustries associations of the State on 13.08.2019.

• Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi attended meeting on State level Cooperation Committee cum

Monitoring Cell(SLOC) on 7 th Economic Census at NSO(FOD) Ranchi on 13.08.2019.

• Officer of MSME-DI Ranchi had meeting with different Industries Association on 17.08.2019

regarding MSMEs issues.

• Director(I/c) along with officers of MSME-DI Ranchi attended a meeting under the Chairmanship

of Secretary Industries, Govt. of Jharkhand for Udyam Samagam and Marketing hat on 19.08.2019

and coordinated the letter issued to DCs of all the 24 Districts of Jharkhand (Except Dumka) and

GM DICs for Udyam Samagam and Marketing Haat on 19.08.2019.

• Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi visited Dokra Art Cluster(Indra Panchayat) Hazaribag, Urban Haat

Hazaribag, DIC Hazaribag for organising training programmes under E-SDP scheme on

22.08.2019.

• Director(I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi chaired meeting for selection of MSEs for participation in Craft of

India Mela on 23.08.2019 at MSME-DI Ranchi.The meeting was attended by the officer of MSME-

DI Ranchi,representative of JSIA and GM DIC Ranchi.

• Officer of MSME-DI Ranchi Coordinate Monthly Progress Meeting under chairmanship of

Director(I/c) MSME-DI Ranchi on 23.08.2019.The meeting was attended by the officers of MSME-

DI Ranchi and Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad.

• Officer of MSME-DI Ranchi attended District Level Consultative Committee(DLCC) meeting on

26.08.2019.

• Officer of MSME-DI Ranchi along with General Manager DIC Hazaribag had meeting with

DC,Hazaribagh on 31.08.2019 for organising Udyam Samagam .

• Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi had meeting with officals of DIC Ranchi and EODB Manager on

30.08.2019 and 31.08.2019 for organising Udyam Samagam.

• Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi along with officals of DIC khunti,EODB Manager,District Coordinator

MMLKUVB had meeting with DC Khunti on 31.08.2019 for organising Udyam Samagam .

• Sri Sujeet Kumar,Investigator,Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad attended Training Programme on “Cluster

/CPSEs/R7D Institutions visit at Surat and Daman from 27.07.2019 to 30.07.2019 as per

DC(MSME), New Delhi Sanction order No. 21(19)/2019-MA Pt.-VII, dated 17th June 2019

• Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad along with JIIDCO officials had meeting with Jharkhand

Refractory manufacturers Association, Chirkunda on 01.08.2019 in connection with Finalisation

of DPR for Refractory Cluster .

• Sri Prabhakar Prasad Attended Training Programmeby Sri Prabhakar Prasad, on “IPR at Shillong

from 06.08.2019 to 11.08.2019 as per DC(MSME), New Delhi Sanction order No. 21(19)/2019-MA

Pt.-VI, dated 12th June 2019.

• Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad had meeting with GM(MM), SAIL-Bokaro & DGM (MM), SAIL-

Bokaro to discuss and finalise the dates on 29.08.2019 to organize State Level Vendor

Development Program on 16.08.2019

• Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad attended Project Clearance Committee/Land Allotment

Committee (PCC/LAC) meeting on 19.08.2019, organized by DC cum Regional Director, Jharkhand

Industrial Area Development Authority, Bokaro

• Officers of Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad had meeting with Udyam Shakti, Bokaro, Chamber of Commerce

& Industries, Bokaro and Jharkhand Small & Tiny Industry Association, Chas, Bokaro on

16.08.2019 in connection with SLVDP to be held at Bokaro on 29.08.2019

• 07 Nos. of Persons/Units got assistanc through Correspondence/telephone etc from Officers of

MSME-DI Ranchi and Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad during the period.

• 22 Nos. of units were visited by the Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi and Br. MSME-DI Dhanbad during

the period.

• 78 Nos. of visitors were attended by the Officers of MSME-DI Ranchi and Br.MSME-DI Dhanbad

during the period.

• As on 06.009.2019 ,129,915 units in Jharkhand are registered in UDYOG ADDHAR.

Proposed Activities in the month of September,2019

• To Coordinate Flipkart to sign MOU with Government of Jharkhand.

• To attend Local level Marketing Workshop organized by Jharcraft at Dhurwa,

Ranchi.

• To organize Udyam Samagam in 24 districts of Jharkhand.

• To visit all 24 districts of Jharkhand and had meeting with DCs, DDCs, GM

DICs, Associations and other stakeholders to organize Udyam Samagam in

respective district.

• To visit DIC, ITIs, Polytechnics and other technical institutions or other

colleges/Institute, organization for organizing training programmes (IMC-
