E-Extension Program in Agriculture and
fisheries
The Mandate
Department Order No. 03 series of 2007 designates the Agricultural Training Institute as lead agency for the provision of e-Extension services in collaboration with the various agencies, bureaus and organizational units of the DA. This is to integrate and harmonize ICT-based extension delivery system for agriculture and fisheries.

• Network of institutions that provide a more efficient alternative to a traditional extension system for agriculture, fisheries and natural resources sectors.

• An aggressive shift in its extension work envisioning o a revolutionized agriculture and fishery e-
extension services for self reliant and globally-competitive communities, that can be delivered any time, any place and at any pace
