b. Before use, please make sure the operating voltage matches the voltage on the label of the unit.

d. WARNING: Unplug or disconnect the appliance from the power supply before user servicing or cleaning operations.

e. This appliance is intended only for household and indoor use.

f. This appliance has a polarized plug. (One blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

1. Place the ice box in the freezer until completely frozen

2. Insert an ice box that has been frozen into the water tank and push the water tank back into place. After ten minutes, the water temperature in the water tank will be lower than the ambient air temperature.

3. This unit is equipped with two ice boxes to ensure continuous use.

4. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN THE SEALED ICE BOX.

Using the Ice Box:The ice box has a unique cold storage and heat preservation property, which can slowly absorb the heat in the water and make the water temperature in the water tank always lower than the ambient temperature for several hours, so that the air blown out by the Air Cooler is cooler than the air in the room.

Your Air Cleaner/Cooler is ready to use. Attachment of the caster rollers may be required.

When the power is not ON, the power indicator is not ON. When you press the On Button, a BEEP sounds, and the system enters a state of standby. When the indicator and display are lit for 1 minute, if no button is pressed, the indicator and display will dim to 30%. Pressing the ON/OFF button will restore the display to 100%. During start-up, if the unit has been unplugged and plugged back in, when the ON/OFF button is pressed to start the main motor, the unit enters the default operating state (see below).

If the unit was turned off without unplugging the power cord, the unit will return to the last setting used before it was turned off (excluding time and sleep settings).

The default startup settings are as follows: • Normal Fan mode; No LED display;• Power indicator is ON;• Swing indicator is OFF;• Humidification indicator is OFF;• Medium Fan starts, then changes to low-speed after 3s, and

the low-speed indicator turns ON;• Timing function is OFF and the untimed indicator is OFF;• Ambient temperature indicator is ON;• Ambient temperature is displayed on display panel.

After startup, the Speed button can be pressed to adjust the fan speed. Each time you press the Speed button you cycle through 4 fan speeds:

Low - Medium - High - Mute - then back to Low

As you progress through the settings, the display panel will indicate the selected speed. (note: Mute speed can only be operated when using the Normal MODE, and cannot be used in any other MODE).

4. MODE Button

MODES are pre-programmed routines to fit different user preferences. MODE functions do not work when the Fan Speed is set to MUTE. The display panel shows Icons for each MODE except the Normal MODE. There is no Display Icon for the Normal MODE.

Installation

This unit has 4 MODES. Normal – Intelligent – Natural – and Sleep

When the unit is running, press the MODE button to select the desired MODE. Each MODE except the Normal MODE is programmed to alter the fan speed in different cycles. To change from one MODE to another, press the MODE key repeatedly until your desired MODE is displayed on the Display Panel.

On startup, if you didn’t unplug the unit since the last use, the last Mode you selected will begin. If you unplugged the unit, the default startup mode is Normal. Press the MODE key to cycle through the different MODES to select your desired MODE.

Normal MODE – Allows the user to select the Time and Fan speed manually. There is no LED Icon on the Display Panel for the Normal MODE.

Intelligent MODE - The Intelligent MODE regulates the Fan Speed according to the Ambient room Temperature. You cannot adjust the Fan Speed manually while in the Intelligent MODE. Intelligent MODE will regulate the fan speed as follows:

Room Temperature below 770 F – Low Fan SpeedRoom Temperature between 770 F – 840 F – Medium Fan SpeedRoom Temperature above 840 F – High Fan Speed

When operating in the Intelligent MODE, the LED indicator on the display panel will flash to indicate the unit is in Intelligent MODE. If you press the MODE button the unit will immediately exit from Intelligent MODE to next MODE, and LED indicator of Intelligent MODE no longer flashes.

Natural MODE - This is a pre-programmed MODE that automatically changes the Fan Speed cyclically from High to Medium to Low, creating a natural wind movement. In the Natural MODE the Tree Icon will be lit on the Display Panel and only the Startup Fan Speed will be shown on the display.

Sleep MODE - The unit operates at the speed set by the user and reduces the speed according to the preset rules. This MODE prevents physical discomfort due to high fan speed while sleeping. The Half Moon Icon is shown on the display panel in the Sleep MODE. Below are the Fan Speeds when Sleep MODE is turned on.

If the Fan is set to High Speed - 30 minutes High Speed - 30 minutes Medium Speed then Slow Speed.

If the Fan is set to Medium Speed - 30 minutes Medium Speed then Slow Speed

If the Fan is set to Slow Speed - Only Slow Speed.

5. Timer button:a. When the Timer button is pressed, the front panel display will flash

with the current set time. Press the Timer button to increase the time from 0 - 8 Hours in one hour increments Holding the Timer button down will rapidly move through the settings. When you have reached your desired time, the time in hours should show for about 5 seconds on the display, then change back to the Ambient temperature.

b. If the Timer button is idle for 5s, or buttons other than Timer button are pressed within 5s, the display changes to display the ambient temperature.

c. If timing value is set to 0, it means no timing and the unit will enter the normal display of the ambient temperature.

d. Front Panel Display: If no timing is set, the current ambient temperature is always displayed in 0F. If the temperature is below 100F the display will indicate “LO”. If the temperature is above 990F the display will indicate “HI”.

e. If timing is set, the ambient temperature is displayed for 5s, then changed to display the remaining time value for 5s, which are displayed alternately and cyclically.

6. Swing Button:Your unit allows you do direct the air in only one direction, or to Swing from left to right in a 800 pattern in front of the unit. Press the Swing Button to activate or deactivate the "Left-right swing" motor controlling the vertical blades located behind the horizontal blades on the front of the unit. When the Swing mechanism is active, the Swing Icon will be lit on the display panel.

7. Humidification/cooling button

When the unit is turned on, pressing the Cooling Humidification button

activates the water pump, enabling the Cooling/Humidification

function.8. Water level protection function: Do not Start the Cooling/

Humidification function when the water tank is empty. When the cooling function is started, the MCU program is delayed for 45s to determine if there is water in the water tank. Then, another 5s is taken to judge the cooling condition. When the cooling function is started, the water pump is activated and water from the tank is pumped through the water channel. The unit may take up to 45s before detecting an empty water tank. The time from 45s to 50s is used to detect the state of the magnetically controlled switch. If the water tank is empty, the Cooling/Humidification function will STOP. Also, during normal operation of the Cooling/Humidification function if the water tank runs out of water, the Cooling/Humidification function will STOP.

9. Air-Dry function:

a. After using the Cooling/Humidification function, you should run the Air-Dry function to dry the Honeycomb Air Filter.

b. To enable the Air-Dry function, press and hold the SPEED button for 3s.

c. When Air-Dry function is enabled, the Fan Speed is changed from the current Fan speed to the next Fan speed, and then directly to high speed for 20m.

d. When Air-Dry function is enabled, the high-speed Fan indicator on the display panel should flash at a frequency of 0.5s ON and 0.5s OFF, until the machine is shutdown after 20 minutes.

e. When the Air-Dry function is activated, other functions are OFF.

When the Air-Dry function is active, you may turn the unit OFF by pressing the ON/OFF button. Other function buttons won't work.

When the unit is in the Air-Dry function, if the "ON/OFF" button is pressed for shutdown before the 20min Air-Dry cycle is complete, the unit will not memorize the remaining time of the Air-Dry function.

When the Air-Dry function is enabled and the machine is shut down in advance, if it's enabled again, the unit will restore the previous working state but it won't memorize the state of Air-Dry function.

If the unit is shut down after using Cooling/Humidification, without enabling Air-Dry function, the unit must be re-started to enable the Air-Dry function.

10. Power-off memory function:

a. If the unit has not been unplugged, when the power button is activated to ON, a "Beep" sounds for 10s. After 30s, the unit will restore the settings and functions to the previous ON state.(exception: If the last "ON" state was in the Sleep mode, the unit starts in the Normal Mode).

b. If power button is pressed within the first 30s after restoring power, the previous state should be restored immediately without waiting.

c. The Timer Countdown should also be memorized if less then 5m has passed since the unit was Powered "OFF". The Timer does not count down while the unit is OFF.

d. If a power outage occurs during OFF state, it will still be OFF after power is restored.

11. Automatic Power-OFF function

a. In the default operating state after startup, if the unit operates continuously for 15 hours, the unit will be automatically powered OFF.

b. To restore power, press the ON/OFF button to re-start the unit.

c. To Cancel this function, press & hold the "Cooling" and "Fan Speed" buttons at the same time for 3S. A "Beep" will sound signifying the cancellation of the automatic power-off function.

If you wish to use the Cooling and Humidifying function, you must add water to the water tank before using. Unlock the tank lock, take out the tank and slowly fill water in the tank (Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3 and Figure 4): after filling, it's necessary to place the tank in the original position and then re-lock knob of tank locks.

a. After the water pump has operated for 45s, if the tank watershortage protection circuit does not detect water for a continuous 5s,the pump will stop working and a "Beep" will sound for 10s.

b. Rapid Detection: If the Cooling/humidification button is pressed threetimes in 3s after power-on, the Beep sound is given to rapidlydetect if water is present. If no water is detected within 5s in theRapid Detection mode, the water shortage alarm will sound.

c. The Rapid detection protection function is canceled after pressingthe ON/OFF button again.

Please refer to the fill level indicator when refilling the water tank.(Figure 5) a. During water filling, fill the tank to a level between the Minimum

and Maximum fill level indicators.

b. Please be sure to use clean tap water.

c. When using your unit for the first time, it is normal to have aslight odor and/or discoloration in the water tank.

13. Use of remote control:

a. Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control and install a 3V CR2032 battery.

b. To open the battery cover, press in the direction shown by arrow 1 in Fig. 6 to break away the upper buckle of the battery cover, then pull out of it in the direction shown by arrow 2.

c. When using, you must aim the remote toward the unit.

d. When the battery is running out, the battery cover can be removed as shown in Fig. 6, and replaced with a (CR2032 3V) battery. Please pay attention to the positive and negative terminals of the battery. Do not use the Remote without the battery compartment cover in place.

e. The battery cells should be disposed of properly, including keeping them away from children.

f. Even used battery cells may cause injury if swallowed.

. Cleaning and Maintenance

ffi Don't use chemicals during cleaning.■ Turn off the power and unplug the power plug.

ill :Please be sure to unplug the power line during cleaning, otherwiseit may cause electric shock.

■ When dust accumilates on the outside surface, please wipe it with a soft cloth; if the surface is too dirty, warm [not hot] water should be mixed with mild detergent to wipe it clean using a soft cloth.

■ During cleaning, it's prohibited from using gasoline, Banana oil, diluents and any substances that may easily damage the outer surface.

• Clean the HEPA Air filter screen and Honeycomb filter assembly.If too much foreign matter adheres to the filters, it will affect the operation of the Fan, so clean them at least once every other month or as needed.

1. Unplug the power cord.

2. The HEPA Air filter should be removed first in order to removethe honeycomb filter bracket set (see illustration).

3. Clean the HEPA Air filter with mild detergent and a soft brush.4. Soak the Honeycomb filter assembly in mild detergent for a fewminutes, then rinse and dry it.

TO CLEAN THE WATER TANK1. Unplug the power supply and turn the water tank retainer knob to thehorizontal direction to pull out the water tank.

2. Dip a towel in detergent and wipe the scale in the water tank, thenwash with clean water and pour the water in the sink or bathroomlavatory.

TO CLEAN THE OUTER SHELL

1. Clean the surface of the unit and wipe it off with a damp cloth. DONOT RINSE DIRECTLY WITH WATER AS IT MAY DAMAGE THE UNITAND CAUSE A RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK.

2. Do not clean with corrosive detergent or solvent.

3. Before cleaning the unit, be sure to turn off the power and unplug thepower cord, or else it may cause electric shock.

INSTALLATION AFTER CLEANING

1. Install the Honeycomb filter, HEPA Air filter screen, and dustfilter screen and replace and lock the water tank in sequence.

2. Connect the power supply and confirm that the unit is workingproperly.

MAINTENANCE

1. When the unit is not used for a long time, unplug the power, pack theunit and prevent dust from entering.

2. Before packaging, ensure that the Honeycomb filter and HEPA Airfilter are dry, and there is no water in the water tank.
