Police Public Participatory Project- Cyber Security
Our 26 students of IT department be the Brand Ambassador of cybersafeNashik, the activity initiated by Nashik Police. The program Named as "Police Public Participatory Project".
The program agenda is nothing but Awarness of Cyber Laws, securitywhen they handling in an internet in public..students till now gave theawareness sessions to many schools & colleges. till now our studentsgives the awarness session to more than 5000 students from manydifferent schools & colleges.

As a part of MOU Signed between Electrical Engg Dept,SITRC and Institute of
Training & Safety, Eklahare, Nashik (I & TS),The First activity i.e Seminar on “Electrical
Safety” was conducted on 13th Jan 2017 by Expert Team of I & TS , Eklahare. Dr.P.G.Burade,
Head of the Department of Electrical Engg. Welcomed and Felicitated the Team of I & T S,
Eklahare.
Asst.Prof. A.V.Satpute introduce the Team of Experts from I & T S to students.
Dr.P.G.Burade throw the light on “Electrical Safety” and its necessity and awareness . Er.
G.Chakurkar gave the outline on Electrical Safety in day to day life. He explained how fatal
accidents can be avoided by taking care of small things. With the help of Videos and PPTs , He
enlightened the students about Do’s and Don’t’s while performing the Practical’s in lab and
repairing any Electrical Instrument or Equipment.
Er.B.Patil distributed the Electrical Safety Informative leaflet which was
beneficial for the Students of SE & TE. He also illustrates why Electrical Safety is gaining so
much importance by sharing the Statistics of Accidents that occurred mainly due to negligence
of Electrical Safety. He further added the importance of RCB, ELCB & MCB in Electrical
House hold and Industrial Wiring Connections. He further added that how Laxity with respect
to Electrical Safety in Villages and Urban Town are causing major accidents.
We are very much thankful to the Team of I & TS, Eklahare. The Seminar
on “Electrical Safety” certainly enhanced the knowledge of the Students and change the
mindset and outlook towards the safety related to Electricity. This was the First Activity
undertook as per the MOU signed with I & TS, Eklahare. We are looking forward for many
such valuable events in the future with full co-operation.
