    Catalog Description: Response analysis of single and multi-degree-of-freedom systemsto periodic and non-periodic excitations; continuous systems;response spectra; applications in structural engineering.

    Objectives: Develop theory and analytical procedures to evaluate the dynamiccharacteristics of idealized structural systems and analyze simplestructures subjected to time-dependent loads.

    Prerequisites: - Ordinary differential equations(by topic) - Fourier series
