Installation

The installation program starts automatically when you insert the product DVD.If you have switched off this function on your computer, please do the following in order to install the program:

1. Insert the product DVD in the DVD drive.2. Open the root directory of this drive.3. Start the installation by double-clicking

the file Setup.exe.

The setup program guides you through the complete installation. You may be asked to restart your computer following the instal-lation.

Please adhere to the notes on installation and use in the Installation Notes and in the Release Notes:• Installation Notes: After start of setup,

click on the button “Yes, I would like to read the notes.” in the “Product Notice” dialog.

• Release Notes: In the setup dialog “Pro-grams,” click on the “Readme” button displayed for the selected product.

You can also find these documents as PDF files on the product DVD in the directory “Install_and_Release-Notes“.Start the software by using the link on the Desktop or from the Windows Start menu.

Note

The trial version needs to be removed after the duration of use has expired, because MS SQL Server express edition is installed with the trial version, but the WinCC 7.4 full version is installed with SQL 2014 SP1.The demo version may only be installed on a PC on which no other WinCC version isinstalled. In particular, this version must not be used to upgrade an older WinCC version.

Installation

Das Installationsprogramm startet nach dem Einlegen der Produkt-DVD automatisch. Wenn Sie diese Funktion bei Ihrem Rechner ausgeschaltet haben, dann gehen Sie bei der Installation folgendermaßen vor:

1. Legen Sie die Produkt-DVD in das DVD-Laufwerk ein.

2. Öffnen Sie in diesem Laufwerk das Root-Verzeichnis.

3. Starten Sie die Installation, indem Sie auf die Datei Setup.exe doppelklicken.

Das Setup-Programm führt Sie durch die gesamte Installation. Nach der Installation werden Sie gegebenenfalls aufgefordert, Ihren Rechner neu zu starten.

Beachten Sie die Hinweise zur Installation und Nutzung in den Installation Notes und in den Release Notes:

• Installation Notes: Klicken Sie nach dem Starten des Setups im Dialog „Produkthin-weise“ auf die Schaltfläche „Ja, ich möchte die Hinweise lesen“.

• Release Notes: Klicken Sie im Setup-Dialog „Programme“ auf die Schaltfläche „Lies-mich“, die jeweils zum gewählten Produkt angezeigt wird.

Sie finden diese Dokumente auch als PDF-Datei auf der Produkt-DVD im Verzeichnis „Install_and_Release-Notes“.Starten Sie die Software über die Verknüp-fung auf dem Desktop oder über das Windows Startmenü.

Hinweis

Die Trial-Version muss nach Ablauf der Nutzungsdauer deinstalliert werden, da sieMS SQL Server express edition verwendet. Mit der Vollversion WinCC 7.4 wird aber SQL 2014 SP1 installiert.Die Demo Version darf nur auf einem PC installiert werden, auf dem keine WinCC-Version installiert ist. Insbesondere darf die Version nicht zum Upgrade einer älteren WinCC Installation verwendet werden.

Installation

Le programme d’installation démarre auto-matiquement une fois le DVD du produit inséré. Si cette fonction est désactivée sur votre ordinateur, procédez de la manièresuivante lors de l’installation :

1. Insérez le DVD du produit dans le lecteur de DVD.

2. Ouvrez le répertoire racine dans ce lecteur.3. Démarrez l’installation en double-cliquant

sur le fichier Setup.exe.

Le programme Setup vous guide pendant toute la procédure d’installation. Une fois l’installation terminée, un message vous demandera de redémarrer le cas échéant votre ordinateur.

Veuillez tenir compte des indications sur l’installation et l’utilisation figurant dans les Instructions d’installation et dans les Release Notes :

• Indications sur l’installation : Cliquez après le démarrage du Setup dans le dialogue “Informations sur le produit“ sur le bouton “Oui, je souhaite lire les informations“.

• Release Notes : Cliquez dans le dialogue du setup “Programmes“ sur le bouton “Lisezmoi“ affiché pour le produit sélec-tionné.

Vous trouverez ces fichiers également sous forme de fichier PDF sur le DVD du produit dans le répertoire “Install_and_Release-Notes“.Démarrez le logiciel via le raccourci sur le bureau ou le menu de démarrage Windows.

Remarque

La version Trial doit être désinstallée après expiration de la durée d‘utilisation car son installation comprend l’installation de MS SQL Server Express Edition. La version intégrale WinCC 7.4 est toutefois installée avec SQL 2014 SP1.La version de démonstration ne peut être installée que sur un PC, sur lequel aucune version WinCC n‘est installée. Il ne faut pas utiliser cette version pour effectuer la mise à niveau d‘une installation WinCC antérieure.

Instalación

El programa de instalación arranca automáti-camente tras introducir el DVD de producto. Si el ordenador no tiene activada esta fun-ción, proceda del modo siguiente:

1. Introduzca el DVD de producto en la uni-dad de DVD.

2. Abra el directorio raíz de esta unidad.3. Inicie la instalación haciendo doble clic en

Nota

La versión de prueba debe desinstalarse una vez transcurrido el tiempo de utilización, ya que con la versión de prueba se instala MS SQL Server Express Edition y con la ver-sión completa de WinCC 7.4 se instala con SQL 2014 SP1.La versión de demostración sólo deberá instalarse en un PC donde no esté instalada ninguna versión de WinCC. Installazione
